AN ABOMINATION
Dowsing For Water Is A Test Of Faith And Science – Dowsing is divination.
Dowsers themselves call themselves “diviners.
There is no scientific basis for ‘water witching’ (another name for dowsing).
Divination involves the use of familiar (evil) spirits. Which is probably one reason it is so heavily entwined in American folklore.
Some even pass off the practice as part of their “heritage” or “tradition.”
Using divination (illegitimate supernatural power), diviners locate water, minerals, metals, oil, lost treasure and/or other lost objects.
“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD:”

The linked article makes it seem like it all boils down to a question of “belief.”
And so it does: the belief that some will use illegitimate supernatural power to achieve earthly ends.
Dowsing (water witching, divination) is an abomination in the sight of God Almighty.

Does the reader believe divination is just “innocent fun”?
Does the reader feel divination is just a part of his heritage?
The reader can know the truth about this abomination.
IF he is willing to walk a hard path.
