Now, this writer is not claiming that Israel will NEVER attack Iran–only that this sort of rhetoric has been flying in the Corporate Media for an inordinately long time. And Benjamin Netanyahu–who plays the part of the “hardliner” very well–is the perfect man to deliver such lines in a most believable manner. At some point, one would think Israel has to stop the talking and do some walking–or else come off as a perpetual scold.
Maybe the strategy is to “cry wolf!” so many times, the world will be lulled to sleep about a possible Israeli attack on Iran?
If so, how many years of crying “wolf” will be sufficient?
Or it may just be the case that “crying wolf!” is in the script.
