OREOS AND COCAINE: Trusting Studies and Experts Over the Word of God

Are you addicted to Oreos?

Oreos equal Cocaine?

Must be true–they did a STUDY!

STUDY: Oreos and Cocaine are the same – Except that Oreos are legal (and tasty!)–and don’t work directly on one’s central nervous system–and don’t cost hundreds of dollars per package.

The world offers its own deceived version of events. And the people of the world continue to eat it up.

The study equating Oreos and cocaine is the world justifying cocaine use, and ultimately, sin.

“Look, you want to do cocaine? It’s not so bad. It’s no different than your dad eating 10 Oreo cookies. SCIENTISTS think they are the same! Go ahead. It’s okay!”

But in a larger sense, the real problem with the linked pieces: In 2013 America, many have substituted “studies,” and what “experts” and “science” say for Biblical truth.

THIS is the real deception.

The world doesn’t want Americans to change their sinful behaviors: they merely want them to feel better about their sin-drenched lives.

IS the reader ready to change his direction in life (repent)?

There is still yet a little time.
