“All men are liars.”
THOSE WHO LIVE A LIE
The church folk are nothing if not agreeable.
Particularly on certain points–such as whether they believe the Bible or not.
Almost universally, the answer is “YES!”
Unfortunately, they lie.
They condemn themselves with their own words.
“That’s YOUR interpretation!”
“MY pastor says…”
I have a good Christian book–written by EXPERTS and GREAT MEN of GOD–which begs to differ!”
During one such recent conversation, a person vehemently declared they believed the Bible.
When the discussion turned to witches, they replied “There are no such things as witches. No demons either.”
Informed that this clearly contradicted the Bible, the person retreated to the familiar bunker of those who think they attack the Bible cleverly: figurative language.
“Witches are nothing more than figurative language.”
This proves (once again) that it’s hard to hold a discussion when the other person speaks a completely different language.
It also proves that when men who declare they believe the Bible get down to the particulars, they usually only believe the parts that are convenient for them to believe.
Which means a great many of them are liars–which the Bible exposes for those who believe it.
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”
DOES the reader believe the Bible?
OR does the reader believe only those parts of the Bible which are convenient to believe?
OR does the reader believe those parts of the Bible which agree with SCIENCE! ?
THERE is still yet time to change directions (repent) and turn to the truth.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
—2 Corinthians 4:3
