It is TRUE: most people value comfort and the status quo above all else.
You can tell people “Things are going to change and they’re never going to be the way you remember them ever again.”
The almost-universal response is “No it isn’t.”
But the same people who deny that things are changing are the same people who complain the loudest when the changes they deny are happening take place.
Like in health care and insurance, politics, world government, societal norms, religion, Christianity.
Most men place a HIGH, HIGH value on their comfort.

Even more place a HIGH value on not rocking the boat and maintaining what they have.

These are reason why men are taken totally by surprise whenever the status quo suddenly changes. Despite the centuries of warnings; despite the clear notice of what is to come; despite the feelings of apprehension: men cling to what they have today and do not want to think about changes to their routine.
History is replete with many examples of normal life one day turning extremely UN-NORMAL in a matter of hours.
Yet, the basic human reaction seems to be to deny that this can happen.
IS the reader prepared for what is soon to come to pass?
OR does the reader have his head buried firmly in the ground?
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
