Gay marriages accounted for 17% of all weddings in Washington – About one of every six weddings were homosexual.
A sigh and a shake of the head should be what greets this news. Man has always had the keys to overthrow the tenets of civilization.
And on occasion, man has done just that. Normalizing homosexual relations is always one of the last marks of a decadent society before it disappears on the ash heap of history.
As a people, Americans have been taught that they are “special;” that they will somehow avoid learning the hard lessons that history teaches.
American are not special. The USA can dress up homosexual unions in “gay marriage” party clothes or however else it chooses, but no society has escaped that particular harsh lesson of history.
Neither will America.
America will learn some other harsh lessons as well, many of which are particular to its own time and place at the climax of human history.

GOD DOES NOT NEED HELP
One can place one’s faith in God OR one can place one’s faith in guns.
Americans have been revealing in record numbers who their faith is in.
Some might argue “God helps those who help themselves.”
But that phrase is not only NOT in the Bible, it’s exactly opposite from what God’s Word teaches.
God neither wants nor needs your help.

A LITTLE KNOWLEDGE

When asked about the end times, Jesus Christ gave the following as a warning.
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”

And yet, modern man is so surrounded and immersed in deceit, he’s incapable of being helped–EXCEPT by divine intervention.
One of the methods used to deceive modern man is a little knowledge.
Moderns are given a LITTLE knowledge and a LOT of accompanying explanation, narrative and pretty stories.
In this way are moderns prepared for their slaughter.
The following may serve as one small illustration.
There once was a young man who was of above average intelligence.
This young man surrounded himself with a circle of fellows who were of average or slightly below average intelligence. The young man then praised his fellows for their superior “smarts.” Few people consider themselves “slow,” so the group surrounding the young man not only readily accepted his compliments, but they BELIEVED THEM as well.
The young man then proceeded to take advantage of his fellows, based upon his higher intelligence. Most of the time, the young man’s fellows did not even know they were being taken advantage of–although, occasionally they did know this happened.
The young man probably would have remained in this advantageous situation, BUT feeling confident about his success, he ventured outside his circle of fellows and tried his deceptive tricks on others outside his circle.
Many of the others were at least as intelligent as the young man. The young man was often in trouble now as he was usually caught with his hands in someone else’s cookie jar.
One day, the young man was lamenting his changed situation.
“It seems I’m in trouble all of the time these days.”
A girl he’d tried to take advantage of then informed him.
“You think everyone is as ignorant as those guys you run around with. They’re not. Smarten up or someone will eventually put you in jail or worse.”
THE MORAL OF THE STORY?
Modern man is like the young man.
He has a little knowledge but he thinks he knows so much more than he does.
As long as modern man associates with others who are more or as deceived as he is, he can feel pretty confident he knows what is going on in the world and his place in it.

Dangerous during one’s time here on earth in this present life.

One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
