Have the Russians hacked the power grid? US officials say code linked to the country’s operations was found within systems at a Vermont electric plant – The power grid will go down at some point. The Russians are just one of the villains the electric shutdown will be blamed on.

This seemed a better choice than to include all of the “Best of” and “Worst of” lists which the Corporate Media churns out the last day or two of each year. Such lists are usually compendia of narratives (stories).

GOP Leaders must accept that they are held to a higher standard – Right, “higher standards.”

Think of all the “lightbringers” on so-called “Christian TV.” Dealing spiritual death to their viewers with another gospel message of another Jesus that corrupts God’s Word in exchange for filthy lucre.

Think of all of the so-called “do-gooders” (hint: Oprah Winfrey) who have built empires of wealth and/or power by dispensing a poisonous syrup which sounds sweet to the uninformed ear, but which replaces God’s Word with a murderous New Age substitute..

Think of all of those who so carefree and loosely and RELENTLESSLY throw around words like “love” and “brotherhood.” But alas: it’s a one-way street: it’s only love and brotherhood IF one agrees with these love gurus.

The Wire 2016: Your Year in Review
The year began with a double-digit field of Republicans vying for their party’s presidential nomination. The comparisons to the clown car were inevitable — and frequently deserved.

The New York Timesreports the Environmental Protection Agency could soon declare the Alaskan cities of Fairbanks and North Pole, which have a combined population of about 100,000, in “serious” noncompliance of the Clean Air Act early next year.
Democrats have a religion problem – Au contraire.
The Democrats worship any number of idols: climate change, the earth, man, pagan deities, etc.
Religion is alive, well and thriving amongst the Democrats.

WATCHING FOR THE WRONG SIGNS
A New Naziism coming to America? – Good question–if this were 2004.
But it’s 2014 and there have been checkpoints on American roadways for years now.
Oh, we call them “DUI checkpoints” and such. The state will always have a reason for doing what they do. But drivers are stopped for no reason and asked to produce their papers before being allowed to continue on their way.
Travelers are searched, re-searched and searched some more. “I’m only doing my job” trumps the imagined protections of the US constitution every time at the airports; on a thousand streets and lonely back roads; and, at countless traffic stops across the country.
Almost everyone in the USA is watched, recorded, monitored and eavesdropped upon.
Land of the Free, baby!
It will get worse.
But here’s a thought experiment: what if it only gets worse incrementally? What if there’s no “plunge off the cliff into the abyss” that the Corporate Media has been so kind as to incessantly warn Americans about for the last couple of years?
“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Here’s a scenario to consider: What if church folk stay huddled in their homes waiting, waiting, waiting for the signs they’ve been taught will appear? Believers are supposed to “watch.” But what if many are watching for the wrong things? The enemy knows scripture. Surely he wouldn’t have tried to deceive church folk on these points.
Would he?
What if we’re looking for the wrong signs? Watching and waiting for power which many feel certain–no, have been instructed–will be at their disposal. Looking on as the world waxes worse and worse and still even worse every day all around us.
Thankful for the hammer which hasn’t yet fallen–and not fulfilling all that’s commanded of them in the meantime? Discussing the evil among themselves, but not speaking out boldly to the world; a world which only wants to hear what the world wants to hear?
Many Christians are listening to what self-proclaimed modern apostles and prophets are proclaiming. Is this what the Bible says will occur? So many are sure these men are anointed, but what does God’s Word have to say about those with a false anointing and false Christs?
“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”

ADVICE FOR 2017
Advice is usually ignored as fast as it is dispensed.
However infrequently, someone actually ASKS for advice.
Advice for 2017 is the same as the advice for 2o15.
Someone recently asked “What do you think will happen in 2015?”
Who can answer that question?
Only the Lord. HOWEVER, here’s two bits of advice from God’s Word.
First, one that is most appropriate for New Year’s Day–when so many look back at 2014.
“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Secondly, a bit of advice all websites allegedly devoted to prophecy might do well to remember.

Whether the reader considers them or not is an entirely different matter.

When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events.
