Thomas Hobbes was an important spinner of narratives, particularly in the political realm.
Hobbes was instrumental in laying the foundations of Western liberal representative government.
Hobbes was also instrumental in detaching the rights of governments to rule from the basics laid out in the Bible. No longer was the king–for good or for bad–the man God had raised to power; now power would theoretically reside in the hand of the “people“–which meant that in reality, power resided in the hands of the mystery of iniquity and its many puppets.
And so the power structures remain today.
It is no coincidence that Hobbes’ seminal work was titled Leviathan.
HOWEVER, Thomas Hobbes did have one thing exactly right, though for much different reasons than he supposed: man’s life on this earth is basically solitary, poor, nasty, brutish and short.
Though the minions of the enemy try their level best to deceive and persuade otherwise, this present life is but a short test to decide where man spends his eternity.
For the vast majority of mankind, that eternity will have four of Hobbes characteristics: solitary, poor, nasty and brutish.
The eternity of the lost will not be short.

Why is pedophilia and other gross sexual misconduct so prevalent among the uber-wealthy and powerful?
One suspects it is because they tell themselves they can do anything and never be held accountable. But while they may be rich, they are also mistaken.
They will be held accountable. God will judge them.
Among Epstein’s early investment clients were Leslie Wexner, the Ohio-based businessman who is CEO of L Brands, the fashion and lifestyle group whose brands include Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works. In 2013, Forbes magazine estimated the 77-year-old Mr Wexler’s wealth to be $7.3bn.
What a coincidence! Wexner, who runs The Limited and other clothing stores, has been linked with pedophilia among those in high finance for some time. From 2011:
“One known client, Leslie Wexner, billionaire founder of The Limited clothing chain, was widely believed to be his benefactor for years and the major source of his wealth: at one time, Epstein was listed as a trustee of The Wexner Foundation, and Wexner reportedly bought Epstein a $13 million New York apartment.”
It’s been reported that Wexner is no longer publicly linked to Epstein now that Epstein is the subject of unwanted bad publicity–always a no-no among the ultra-wealthy.
