It’s AS IF everyone was walking around with blindfolds.
The end times are a time of great deception.
This is nowhere more apparent than listening to apparently well-meaning people talking about the object of their faith.
There is much talk of “god,” “a higher power” and “the divine.”
There is next-to-NO talk about Jesus Christ.
Much of this is on purpose: “god,” “a higher power” and “the divine” have more than one meaning and can–AND DO–mislead.
Jesus Christ is very specific–and that name specifically offends many.
“Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.”
–Matthew 24:9-10
Humans look to a great many things in an effort to secure their futures.
Those same humans resist the one thing which can assure their future: God Almighty and His Son, Jesus Christ.
“A higher power,” “god” and “the divine.” can refer to a great many things, none of whom are God Almighty.
Which is a prime reason the masses have no power in their joyless lives, but instead live lives filled with disease, heartbreak, enslavement and constant sorrow.
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
–John 8:36
To whom is the reader directing his faith?
THERE is still time to change direction (repent) and place one’s trust in Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
