A Drug For Fear?

“And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.”

Man claims to be able to do a great many things.

Can man cure fear?

A drug to cure fear – Actually, there may be drugs which can knock down the symptoms of fear or the consciousness of fear.

(People have been using alcohol to try to do this for centuries.)

But FEAR! many times proceeds from judgment–and men have always wanted to dull the pangs of fear arising from judgment.

Might just as well write about a drug against war.

DOES the reader look to pills, medicines and/or alcohol for relief from fear?

THERE is still time to change direction (repent) and place one’s trust in Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

THE GOSPEL
