Days left in Trump’s term: 1426

1347 days until Election Day 2020 – Will it happen?

SATAN’S MOUTHPIECE: The Corporate Media

“The Washington Post says that President Trump has lied over 130 times in just his first month. If you do the math, he’s releasing an average of four false or misleading statements per day. On the bright side, you can’t say Trump isn’t getting anything done.”

Trump vows to cut waste in first budget – Don’t they all?

“It was reported this week that Donald Trump has made six different trips to golf courses in Florida in his first month as president. It’s definitely a lot for a guy who once tweeted: “Can you believe that with all the problems and difficulties facing the U.S., President Obama spent the day playing golf?” We all thought Trump was being critical. Turns out he was being jealous.”

Donald Trump Prophecy?

“You can’t shame or humiliate modern celebrities? (or politicians?–Ed.). What used to be called shame and humiliation is now called publicity. And forget traditional character assassination; if you say a modern celebrity is an adulterer, a pervert and a drug addict, all it means is that you’ve read his autobiography.”

Things of This World: Faith and Trust in Politics

“But actually, he thought as he readjusted the Ministry of Plenty’s figures, it was not even forgery. It was merely the substitution of one piece of nonsense for another. Most of the material that you were dealing with had no connection with anything in the real world, not even the kind of connection that is contained in a direct lie. Statistics were just as much a fantasy in their original version as in their rectified version. A great deal of time you were expected to make them up out of your head.”

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
-—1 Corinthians 1:18-19

THE INVENTION OF DONALD TRUMP

Donald Trump prophecy?

Newt Gingrich to Fox News: You ‘Invented’ Donald Trump – Oh, don’t give Fox ALL the credit: Trump was a creation of ALL the Corporate Media.

He was a team effort.

Without the entire Ministry of Truth spewing Trump propaganda 24/7, The Donald would be just another sad reality TV star.

As it is, he’s become a sad political reality TV star.

As a side note, it’s nice that Gingrich is now saying what ETPR has been saying for the last seven or eight months.

OBAMA’S RELIGIOUS CONFUSION

Barack Hussein Obama: Nobel Peace Prize winner

Why are Americans confused about Obama’s religion? – Well, let’s see:

  1. We have the president saying he is a Christian (which obviously isn’t true).
  2. We have Obama pretending to be an undercover Muslim (which also obviously isn’t true) making various “slip-ups” and “mistakes” in an effort to convince the unsuspecting he is a Muslim.
  3. We have the Corporate Media–supposedly in the tank for Obama–spending the last 6 years saying he is an undercover Muslim or showing pictures of him “inadvertently” being Muslim-like or making statements (sometimes supposedly “off mic”) about his Muslim faith.
  4. We have the president carrying around little statues of Hindu monkey gods.
  5. We have ample proof that Obama exhibits absolutely NO moral compass whatsoever.

And that’s all just for starters.  Confused?

Can’t see why the American people would possibly be confused about Obama’s religion–or lack thereof.

THE METHODS OF THE WORLD

QUESTIONS FOR ATHEISTS – There are times that Christians shoot themselves in their foot–though they have the best of intentions.  A website that proposes to settle questions about Christianity based on evidence, proof and logic presents the linked article.

The premise sounds reasonable: atheists are usually asking Christians questions (which is not a bad thing actually), so why not “turn the tables” and ask the atheists a few questions?

However, while this sounds good, there are several things wrong with this approach, which is not very biblical.

1- This appeals to the Christians’ ‘pride of life’ and moves the focus off of Jesus Christ.

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”
1 John 2:16

Do we want to win souls or do we want to win debate points?  These discussions are not winnable using the world’s methods. The Christian is to win souls–not debates.

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”
–Proverbs 11:30

The gospel is the tool that God uses–not rhetoric or logic or evidence or proof.  Specifically, the preaching of the gospel.

“For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.”
1 Corinthians 1:21

Sure, Christians are human: they chafe at the world’s labels of “uneducated,” “illiterate” and  “idiots.”  (The linked articles’ words, not this writer’s.) But is engaging the unbeliever on his own turf the answer?  Is appealing to the atheists’ reason the way Christians are supposed to approach unbelievers?

Will a debate over evidence and proof win one soul to Christ?

The Bible says it won’t.

“Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.”
–Colossians 4:5-6

We’re to walk in wisdom and focus on the cross of Christ.  When Christians lose focus of the true issue, they exchange their most powerful weapon for the tools of the enemy.

Christians seem to be doing a lot of this lately: fighting by the world’s rules of engagement.

2- The questions presented in this article are a good example of trying to fight the enemy on his terms.  They sound good to the Christian–but will likely prove ineffective at winning the souls of atheists.  If the author had visited websites frequented by atheists, he would already know that atheists engage most of the questions presented in this article.

Atheists already have answers to most of the questions presented.  Sure, as Christians we believe that their answers are wrong, but atheists don’t.

So then we’re back to square one again.

And Christians should keep one important point in mind: it is God who offers salvation as a free gift, not us.  We merely are the presenters, nothing more.  Contrary to much of what’s being taught, being more “persuasive” has nothing to do with whether an unbeliever truly experiences a a new birth or not.

3- Some of the questions don’t even sound good to the Christian.

“How can the Second Law of Thermodynamics be reconciled with progressive, naturalistic evolutionary theory?”

Is this the way to win souls?  Quick: all readers who can recite the Second Law of Thermodynamics, raise your hands.

“How do you explain the thousands of people who have experienced heaven or hell and have come back to tell us about it?”

Though “dying” or “being sent back from the dead” to testify of heaven or hell is a fairly common phenomena in our own times, it is not biblical.

“Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.  Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”
Luke 16:27-31

It’s very human to want to win an argument.  However, nowhere in the Bible is winning arguments mentioned as a method of soul winning.

Yes, we’re to “earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered” (Jude 3)–but that is among believers, not unbelievers (who are not part of the “common salvation” to which Jude refers).

Yes, “Christian apologetics” is speaking in defense of Christianity.  But much of Christian apologetics is practically concerned with the issues raised by false teachers and those who are supposed to be Christians.  False teachers was the theme of  Jude.

For Christians who believe we are living in the end times, we’re given the formula to be “overcomers.”

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
Revelation 12:11

Preach the gospel and let the atheists win their debate points.  At the end of the day, Christians will be happy they did.

SHAM CHURCHES

More black babies killed by abortion in NYC than are born – Planned Parenthood was started by Margaret Sanger, an outspoken proponent of eugenics (getting rid of people of color). Although the Corporate Media has worked overtime trying to clean up Sanger’s racist past, many pictures of her speaking to KKK meetings are still available on the Internet.

One of Sanger’s first clinics was–surprise!–opened in Harlem in the 1920s.  That blacks have helped assist in their own demise is no surprise.  Middle class whites and Christians are two other groups in America which also have enthusiastically supported organizations committed to their ultimate destruction.

“Last week it was reported that the churches of America increased their membership by 690,000. Are you encouraged by these figures? I for my part am not encouraged a bit. I have indeed my own grounds for encouragement. . . . But these figures have no place among them. How many of these 690,000 names do you think are really written in the Lamb’s book of life? A small proportion, I fear. Church membership today often means nothing more, as has well been said, than a vague admiration for the moral character of Jesus; the Church in countless communities is little more than a Rotary Club. . . . It will be hard; it will seem impious to timid souls; many will be hurt. But in God’s name let us get rid of shams and have reality at last.”
J. Gresham Machen, 1926 – (h/t:BP)

MEDIA NARRATIVES ALERT

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
