7 observations on the timing of the climax of human history
A common question today concerns the amount of time until the climax of human history.
“How much time is left?”
Though the question is commonplace, the answer is not an easy one. A few thoughts on this question and possible answers.
1 “No man knows the day or the hour.”
“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.“
–Matthew 24:36
Though Matthew 24:36 is VERY clear, men do not take such a definitive answer as final: they want to know the day and the hour.
God’s Word states emphatically–and it was Jesus Himself who stated it–that NO MAN will know the day and the hour.
2 Charlatans, false teachers and false prophets abound and are not restrained by the Word of God.
Even though the Bible is quite clear that NO MAN will know the day or the hour, there exists no end of false teachers who pretend otherwise.
Many of these frauds pretend to be Christian.
Many of these counterfeits belong to various churches. Some even head up a church.
3 Though no man will know the day or the hour, believers will know the season.
Believers are assured they will know the season, though not the exact time of the season prior to when the day of the LORD (the return of Jesus Christ) takes place.
4 Believers are commanded to “Watch.”
One reason believers are commanded (many times) to “take heed” and/or “watch” is because the Bible has many signs which signal the times prior to the return of Jesus. By watching and staying alert, the believer may know the season (though not the day or the hour).
5 We are living in the end times.
We are now living in the end times. There are many signs. A few include the condition of wicked mankind and the smothering blanket of deception which surrounds the everyday existence of man in the times in which we now live.
Knowing that we are now in the end times, modern man should be alert and “Watch!”
“And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”

6Tommorow or in 15 years
The climax of human history and the events immediately preceding it could take place tomorrow.
OR, they could take place over the next 15 years.
The major pieces are already in place.
There are some pieces (for example, the timing of various small events leading to a one-world government) which could be tweaked indefinitely and might be drawn out over the next 15 years.
Or even longer.
7 Don’t be fooled.
Again, no end of charlatans, frauds and false prophets will pretend to know the timing of the end times.
This is a bold-faced lie.
Publishing times and charts and timelines which claim to know when certain end times biblical events will happen is a prime method for identifying those false teachers, false prophets and false brethren.
One of the phrases one hears from such counterfeits is “It can’t get any worse!”
However, it WILL get worse. It WILL NOT get better (until the return of Jesus), it ONLY gets worse.
Has the reader been taken in by false claims of end times “knowledge“?
THOUGH time grows short, there is still time left to change direction (repent) and call upon the name of the LORD.
Do not wait until it is too late.
Is your calling and election sure?
