For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD”

Divination is one of the main end times deceptions.
As such, the world and every tool of the world (media, government, religion, churches, education, entertainment, culture, etc.) has for some time been engaged in MAINSTREAMING these demonic deceptions as a part of normal, everyday life.
One of the deceptions is that the world confuses the unwary about what divination even consists of.
Divination (from Latin divinare “to foresee, to be inspired by a god”,related to divinus, divine) is the attempt to gain insight into a question or situation by way of an occultic, standardized process or ritual.
According to the linked Wikipedia article, early Christians and Jews (along with pagans) practiced divination.
They did not.
The Wikipedia article (along with many other worldly sources) will say this because they concentrate on the PHYSICAL PRACTICES of divination (instead of what divination actually IS), such as casting lots or flipping cards or consulting charts.
Divination is any attempt to obtain information or other advantages from a demon (devil or evil spirit). It is the accessing of illegitimate supernatural power.
The Normalizing of Illegitimate Supernatural Power in the End Times
Although divination uses many physical props and scripts to disguise the true source of the diviner’s power, ALL divination is based on demonic deception.
This includes the deception of the diviner himself.
Oh, the diviner KNOWS exactly where his information/power comes from–and it is NOT for charts, crystal balls or other physical props. True diviners KNOW their power comes from their engagement with a familiar spirit (demon, devil, evil spirit, etc.).
(More than once, a diviner has attempted to defend his divining practices by insisting “But it works!” The effectiveness of divination is not in question: only the eternal consequences of breaking God’s Law.)
The Bible provides a fairly complete list of divination’s many faces in Deuteronomy 18:10-12.
ALL involve the contact between the diviner and a demon (pagan god, divine, demon, devil, evil spirit, etc.).
ALL involve using that contact for earthly gain of some sort.
ALL are forbidden by God Almighty.
The many different faces of divination have become part of Americana over the past 50 years. Actually, some have been a part of American culture since before the USA became an independent country.
Divination is alive, well and growing more popular in the World’s Most Christian Nation–EVER™!
Of course, divination (like Satan) goes by many names.
- It is the horoscope in every small-town and big-city US newspaper.
- It is the fortune teller with turban and crystal ball who inhabits so many cartoons.
- It is the necromancer who tells your neighbor things ONLY his dead relative would know.
- It is the backwoods, trailer park-dwellers who grunt worms.
- It is the odd-but-nice lady down the street who claims she is a witch.
- It is the eccentric dowser who finds things–including water.
- It is many a smiling face in your community.
It is so much more: all going by different names; all just good, clean, quirky fun; and all involving working with a familiar spirit.

Waxing Worse and Worse and Worse and Worse
Many workers of iniquity (evil men and seducers) live a lie: pretending to be a Christian as they labor for their pagan gods and Satan.
Workers of Iniquity Need a Savior Too
Their time is nearly at hand. That time will be only for a season, but man–NOT God Almighty–will FINALLY have the run of the earth once more for a short while (for the first time since before the flood).
Many of the most fervent workers of iniquity are into divination because they have been deceived into believing that their familiar spirit is to be cherished as a source of power not everyone else possesses–instead of an abomination in the eyes of God Almighty.
Therefore, many of the workers of iniquity are into one or more types of divination.
Sadly, because they engage in divination, they bring affliction and torment onto themselves and those close to them. BUT because they are deceived (as well as deceiving), they DO NOT attribute their woes to their engaging in divination.
A list of God’s consequences for those who break His Law (including the practice of divination) can be found in Deuteronomy 28 (particularly verses 15-68).
Does the reader suffer from any of these conditions?
THE END TIMES
The Bible declares that end times men who contact evil spirits (either by divination or by idol worship or devil worship or other means) will NOT repent of their sin.
They will refuse to repent of their other end times sins as well.
“And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”
–Revelation 9:20-21
Until the very end, men will be blaming other men, the times, God Almighty Himself–in short, ANYTHING other than themselves–for God’s judgments which rain down upon their wicked heads.
Again, divination has been promoted as a normal part of everyday life. In fact, divination–in ALL of its many forms–has become a part of end times life.
Sadly, some of the following are so disguised that the average reader most likely does not know all of the ways in which his life is intertwined with the demonic deception of divination.
- Astrology
- Necromancy
- Fortune telling
- Witchcraft
- Sorcery
- Wizardry
- Devil worship
- Idol worship
- Dowsing or water witching
There are others as well.

Divination has many faces–some of them PURPOSELY well-hidden.
In the times in which we now live, it is fairly easy for the reader to miss one or more facets of divination which may have crept unawares into his life.
DOES the reader engage in divination?
DOES the reader include any practices in his routines which promise to get in touch with his “inner self” or some “energy source” or something else which will supposedly “help” him?
IS the reader sure?
There is still time to repent, place your faith for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
