The Powerless Churches: Church Folk and Their Lack of God’s Power

power meter: powerless

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
–2Timothy 3:1-5

One of the most popular past times in the apostate churches is concocting–and listening to–the countless explanations by those who run the churches for WHY the church folk are so POWERLESS.

Powerless False Gods and Those Who Trust in Them

Those who are transformed; those who experience the second birth are not powerless.

They have as much power as is needed to complete their God-given tasks.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE: The Explosive Power of the Believer’s Prayers

Meanwhile, those who inhabit the buildings known as the churches continue to make do with NO power and the power provided by witchcraft and other spirits which increasingly are seen in the churches.

Because they deny the explosive power of God and His Holy Spirit, they only know the parlor tricks provided by familiar spirits.

And so, they are powerless–but being deceived, they believe they have access to GREAT power.

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
–Matthew 24:24

The apostle Paul warned his disciple, Timothy, of the way men would be in the end times.

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

This fifth verse in 2Timothy 3 no doubt referred to the many counterfeits who congregate in the buildings known as “the churches.”

Bereft of the power of God and God’s Holy Spirit, the leaders in the churches spend an inordinate amount of time making excuses for WHY their churches have no power of God in them. In addition, they also spend a lot of time explaining WHY God’s promises do not apply to their churches and their congregations.

End Times Churches: Broken Beyond Repair

Zero time is spent preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Which is roughly the same amount of time the wolves spend explaining to the church folk that they hang out in a building on Sundays which is a clever counterfeit of Jesus’ Church.

Satan Has Counterfeited the Christian Church

Jesus Himself spoke of the tares; the counterfeits; the wolves in sheep’s clothing.

The End Times Church of the Tares

The only power seen in churches at present appears to be coming from spirits other than the Holy Spirit–which is WHY the church folk settle for parlor tricks and trinkets instead of the explosive dunamis power of the Holy Spirit of God.

God’s Word warns that the “whole world” will be deceived by Satan.

“that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world”
–Revelation 12:9

Satan does not have very far at all to go for Revelation 12:9 to become fulfilled prophecy.

Again, those who run the buildings known as “the churches” spend so much of their time making excuses for WHY their congregations are so powerless.

Just as the Bible foretold they would be.

HAS the reader ever heard a story told about WHY “believers” are so lacking in the power that God Almighty promises?

HAS the reader then tried to convince others of the churches’ powerlessness, using the very same old lies which he had been told?

It is not yet too late: there is still time to repent, place your faith for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
