The Unrelenting Grasp of the World

The Bible is clear that only a “few” are saved from eternal damnation.
So, the question becomes: How few is few?

It has been pointed out that when most of humanity was destroyed in the flood, few meant eight people.
“Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.”

Eight souls?
That REALLY is a few!
God’s Word declares the number of those saved when Jesus returns is thousands more.
At least 144,000 are saved–though these all come from the tribes of Israel.
And NO, these are not church groups or members of a particular religion or cults: the Bible is VERY clear that these 144,000 come from the tribes of Israel–it even denotes the number from each tribe.
“Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. “

NOW, this does not mean that someone who a member of Scientology cannot be saved–perhaps that person has a linage he does not know about (as is the case with most humans. Few (outside of the elites) know their ancestors beyond a few generations.
Will there be more than 144,000 saved at the return of Jesus?
Perhaps.
There are others saved BUT we do not know how many–if any–are part of that 144,000.
Though many do not believe the Bible, it has a perfect track record of predicting the future.
Which, in itself, should be reason enough to change direction (repent).

COLLEGE DEBT SLAVERY
Much modern-day slavery is self-imposed.
Here’s the letter 15 students refusing to pay their federal college loans wrote to the Dept of Education – Sorry: too late.
The federal government and the colleges make it oh-so-very-easy to pick up that cash. Just sign your name on the line.
It’s so easy to do.
But it’s almost impossible to pay back.
The students call for solidarity among the “tens of millions of students” who are “in more debt than they can ever repay.” They’re referring to the estimated $1.1 trillion of loans held by Americans, including many who attended for-profit colleges that are arguably a bad investment.
NOTE: Almost ALL of the college/university deals are “bad investments”, not just the fly-by-night institutions. But well-meaning adults keep pushing kids into that meat grinder because they are at a loss for what to do with all of those 18-year-olds with worthless high school diplomas.
So, the “answer” has been to kick the problem down the road until those 18-year-olds become 22-year-olds with worthless college diplomas.
And there are no lack of both witting and unwitting tools who will encourage false “dreams.”
“Sign on the line and follow your dreams!”
It’s just another recipe for slavery in the Land of the Free™.

Once upon a time, each urban center, large and small, had town criers.
Town criers were a combination of media, court officials, announcers as well as general sayers of good things. They usually roamed the streets calling out legal announcements; general news; reminding the population not to do bad things; court news; maybe shout a few proverbs here and there and sometimes, the time of day or the day of the week.
Some town criers even did advertisements.
In the times in which we live, town criers are a thing of the past.
However, it seems that wherever people congregate to eat, drink or just talk, a group of men who talk VERY LOUDLY among themselves–usually about things which some think the population needs persuading. While there are no town criers, these shouting gentlemen pretty much perform the same functions.
It is noticed that these men usually belong to various public organizations of one sort or another.
Proving: there’s more than one way to disseminate disinformation.

When one is a true friend of the world, one usually has no other true friends.
Those of false religions and workers of iniquity love to point their finger at the false churches and denigrate the powerless people who populate the pews.
HOWEVER, powerlessness is one of the features of the Church of the Tares. IF workers of iniquity can convince the public that church folk are Christians, they have a field day making fun of their lack of power.
The workers of iniquity then use this lack of power to attack God’s Word as false.
Without the constant deceptions of the world, of Satan and of man, undoubtedly more mankind would drift to the truth.
If nothing else, by default.
HOWEVER, God’s purpose is to find Him a people who want to worship Him as God, while He wants to be their God.
And God wants His people to choose Him over everything the world has to offer. In other words, God wants people who SINCERELY want to worship Him.
So, all of the deceptions are just ways to sort out those who are serious about it from those who are not.

Ever wonder why the USA spends more for “defense” (war) than the next eight-ten countries COMBINED?
The organization which rules the world (the Bible calls this government “the beast.”) needs a LOT of military muscle to subdue and control the peoples of the world.
The USA will supply much of that military muscle.
One could almost say this was a job for which the country–from the beginning–was created.

The one-world government will rule the earth for 42 months (1260 days). This does not mean that this government has iron control over the earth and all of its peoples during that time.
In fact, the wheels begin to come off of the one-world cart BEFORE that time is up.
But the Bible says that this government will have power over “all nations.”
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”

Those groups who have spent centuries spinning fables about the Golden Age of Man and other fables will get to try their hand at ruling the earth without God.
Their 42 months ends when Jesus returns.

And in that day, the deceptions wrought by the ruling elites will be laid bare for all to see.

“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events.
