“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
–Hebrews 11:1
God Almighty mightily rewards faith.
Because God’s stated purpose is to find Himself a people He can be God to, he rewards those who can see His purpose and design (according to His Word). In order to see God’s purpose, one needs faith: the ability to see those things which cannot be seen with one’s eyes.
“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

Faith is important for a number of reasons; at any and all times.
Faith is important because faith, is required to be a child of God.
“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”

Faith is important because the believer NEEDS faith to live his daily life.
“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)”
–2Corinthians 5:7
Faith is important because without faith, the believer cannot even PLEASE God.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
–Hebrews 11:6
Yes, faith is important for a number of reasons; at any and all times–BUT faith is particularly important in the end times.
FAITH is necessary to overcome the world.
In the end times, TO BE VICTORIOUS, one must be an OVERCOMER. There are many, many promises made by God to those who are overcomers (seven of these promises are found in Revelation 2 and 3).

To be an overcomer, one MUST have faith.
One cannot be an overcomer without faith.
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
–1John 5:4
FAITH is an absolute necessity for end times survival.
God’s Word even gives a very specific set of criteria for those who hope to be overcomers in the end times.
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
–Revelation 12:11
One MUST have faith in order to have the blood of the Lamb, the word of a believer’s testimony and a martyr’s mindset to put Jesus and God ahead of life in this present world.
FAITH is necessary to conquer fear.
“What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.”
—Psalm 56:3

Lastly, FAITH in the end times is necessary to overcome tribulation.
Many in the churches confuse tribulation with persecution.
End times persecution is affliction of one sort or another because one is a Christian. ALL Christians suffer persecution.
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
–2Timothy 3:12
End times tribulation is affliction of quite another sort: it is the pressure one feels–the feeling of “no escape”–because one is a Christian. Many who have Jesus on their lips will succumb to the pressures of the world; they will become enemies of God because of the great internal pressure they feel. ALL Christians suffer tribulation.
“Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.”
–Acts 14:22
What will overcome tribulation?
FAITH in the power, promises and love of God Almighty and His Son, Jesus Christ.
Many in the end times are deceived because they are looking for miracles, signs and wonders. It will be Satan who supplies these substitutes for faith to those who are looking.
“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders”
–2Thessalonians 2:8-9
IF one has miracles, signs and wonders, one does not NEED faith.
“For we are saved by hope (faith): but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?”
–Romans 8:24
A great number who reside in the churches believe they have faith. BUT if it come down between the Word of God and science, they demonstrate that their faith is in science.
IF a choice has to be made between the Word of God and the medical field, their faith is in the medical field, medicines and the men of medicine.
IF education and/or experts challenges the Word of God, their faith is in education and learned men.
The end times will demand faith to be victorious; to be overcomers.
…And the time to decide for FAITH is sooner rather than later.
DOES the reader feel he has real faith?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
