DECEPTION IS A SPIRITUAL PROBLEM
One important topic about which modern man is very much deceived is deception itself.
This circumstance is due to several factors.
- Satan is a master liar and deceiver.
- Modern man desires deception and lies over the truth.
- Modern man has reached a point in his development where he is literally surrounded by lies and deception. Because so many trust man and the words of man over the Word of God, deceptions are presented as a good path. Countless moderns believe it is important to make a choice in their lives; however, they end up making a choice between two deceptions.
One deception which is indoctrinated into modern man is the value of “talking things out.”
When the talk is about bad choices and misinformation, NOTHING will ever get better from talk.
HOWEVER, talking does give the wicked something to do.
Most feel it is useful and talking passes the time.
The reader can KNOW how useless “talking it out” is: How many have heard friends and relatives declare that “If only I could talk some sense into him/her, s/he would straighten up”?
How often does that “talking sense” work out for the better?
This leads to what is one of the end times greats deceptions: that deception is an information or a communication problem, NOT a spiritual one.
So many moderns sincerely believe that IF they only could impart the right information; if they only could stumble across the right way to say something, they could change their situation or the circumstances of a misguided love one.
Deception is NOT an information problem.
Deception is NOT a problem of logic or data.
Deception is NOT a communication problem.
Deception IS a spiritual problem.
Because so many treat deception (“S/he is so bad for him/her! Why can’t s/he see that?“) as something other than what it is, they fail to bring about positive changes in whatever it is they are addressing,
Whether it concerns them or someone close to them.
The answer to spiritual deception is something which many moderns have been indoctrinated against: the Word of God. Attacking deception as something other than a spiritual problem guarantees failure.
So many who claim to be battling deception use the warning “Wake up! It’s time to wake up before it’s too late!”
This is a futile warning.
One can only “wake up” from deception through very specific spiritual means.
This is one reason warnings against deception so often appear as if they are ignored.
Since deception ultimately leads to destruction, the deceived are engaging in episodes of self-destruction. IF they could “wake up,” utilizing their own power, they would have done it.
No doubt many readers have experience with trying to solve a problem of deception with talking and/or facts and figures.
Deception is a spiritual problem.
Until one treats deception in such a manner, failure will be a constant companion.

DOES the reader know someone who is the victim of deception?
HAS the reader attempted to “wake this person up” using the methods of this world (logic, facts, figures, evidence, proof, sound arguments)?
HAS the reader ever wondered why someone who would leave a bad companion will return again and again?
HAS the reader ever wondered why his efforts to intervene have largely been long-term failures?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
