“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.”
–Revelation 13:4-5
Though Satan’s coming 42-month kingdom will deceive the entire world by appearing to be godly, the Bible is clear: ruling this worldwide empire will be Satan and his deceived human puppets.
Though God’s Word is VERY specific about the length of the time Satan’s kingdom on earth endures (42 months, 3 1/2 years, time, times and half a time, one thousand two hundred and sixty days), it is largely–though not absolutely–silent about how happy the people populating that kingdom will be during its reign.
There are several reasons to believe that although “heaven on earth” has been promised by a wide variety of Satan’s workers down through the ages, the worldwide beast kingdom will be anything but.
Revelation 13: Beast Empire of Dust
Who or What is the Beast in Revelation?
1- Satan’s rebellious masses. The workers of iniquity have encouraged rebellion for centuries. After assuming control, the beast kingdom will rule the earth as a tyrannical master. The peoples of the earth–long raised on the value of being rebellious–will not forget the many lessons on revolt, rebellion and revolution which have been indoctrinated into them. Satan may control “all kindreds, and tongues, and nations,” BUT that does not mean that those “all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” have to be obedient to those who claim to rule the earth.
2- Humble is a dirty word to the workers of iniquity. Because the masses have been regularly (daily) indoctrinated on the horrors of “submission,” “humbling oneself” and “obedience,” the workers of iniquity will find that ruling the unruly masses of people on earth to be more than they bargained for.
3- The workers of iniquity themselves know they have been lied to. Because the workers of iniquity KNOW they have been told a steady stream of lies, at least some will be wary about believing the end times propaganda which the worldwide kingdom will use in its attempt to control the masses. It should be expected that many workers of iniquity will desert–or turn on–their lying masters because, at some point, they will be able to clearly see they are being lied to when it comes to their being exempt from the murders which will sweep the earth.
4- Competition between the workers of iniquity. Very few–if any–workers of iniquity labor because they believe their cause will benefit anyone but themselves. They have labored to rise up in the mystery of iniquity‘s food chain. Many times, such men quickly recognize when their progress to the top is stalled. It is at that point that defections and rebellions take place.
5- Judgment. God’s Word details a series of judgments which will strike the worldwide beast kingdom. These judgments are from God Almighty Himself and are meant to show his wrath. These judgments will make life in the beast kingdom extremely unpleasant–including several that target the kingdom specifically.
“And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.”
–Revelation 16:1-2
“And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.”
–Revelation 16:10-11
These are just a few of the problems the coming worldwide beast kingdom will no doubt experience.
There are others.
Oh yes, there are others.
Which at some point will be addressed in these parts.
DOES the reader labor for those who mistakenly believe they will rule the earth–or some small part of that doomed end times kingdom?
HAS the reader traded in the truthful Word of God for the fables, lies and stories of the dragon and his ministers (who deceitfully appear as ministers of righteousness)?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
