The Believer is To Confess His Sins to the LORD

pray

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
-–1John 1:8-10

Such a simple, straightforward, easy-to-understand concept: the believer (though he has the Holy Spirit residing within) will sin and when he sins, he is to confess his sins to the LORD.

After that, the believer’s sins are forgiven.

It also seems apparent that one must have place his faith in Jesus Christ for eternal salvation before confessing one’s sins to the father do any good.

As Peter proclaimed:

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord”
–Acts 3:19

Note that repentance (changing direction, moving away for sin) is also a component part of God’s forgiveness.

Once the LORD forgives sin, it is completely and utterly forgiven, not ever remembered from that moment on by God.

“For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”
–Psalm 103:1112

The believer’s forgiveness for his sins is totally summed by the apostle Paul:

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
==Romans 8:1

[IF the reader is interested in the whole topic of man’s sin and sin and the believer: two good Bible chapters which explain much about sin and how it relates to the heathen and to those in the kingdom of heaven are 1John and Romans (particularly Chapter 8).]

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16

The End Times Churches: Broken and Beyond Repair

the broken churches

The network of Sunday social clubs commonly referred to as “the churches,” is broken beyond repair.

This thought will no doubt anger some who wish to cling to popular delusions, BUT the evidence is everywhere.

Church. What’s the point? – Yet another post about how to fix the apostate churches.

IF one believes the Bible is the Word of God, one has to believe the following description of worship in the end times.

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
Revelation 13:4,8

QUESTION: Just where does the reader think all of this dragon worship will be taking place?  Is there a massive satanic church building plan in the dragon’s future?

Or does he just use the churches which already feature apostasy, perverse spirits, idols, witchcraft, revolt, other gospels and paganism?
–from End Times Prophecy Headlines: July 9, 2015

Many words have been expended about the antics of that apostate network of buildings known as “the churches.”

About HOW the churches alienate so many of their older members.

About HOW the churches do and say so much that is contrary to God’s Word.

About HOW congregations need to “take back” their churches.

About HOW the broken churches need to be “fixed.”

What does the Bible say about those who inhabit the end times churches?

Grievous wolves, ravening wolves, wolves in sheep’s clothing, seducers, evil men, false prophets, false Christs, ungodly men, “men…speaking perverse things,” false teachers, “them which cause division and offences contrary to doctrine…by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple,” false apostles, deceitful workers, “ministers of Satan” who present themselves as “ministers of righteousness”: this is who the Bible warns will be in the churches.

MORE: LORD, LORD: Who is Crying Lord, Lord?
–from End Times Churches: Broken Beyond Repair

IF the reader is familiar with the described circumstance, then the question becomes: “Who will you serve, Almighty God or your “church family“?

IF the reader is unfamiliar with the described circumstance, it should give him something about which to seriously think.

As stated, many WORDS have been written about the state of the modern churches.

The churches have ALWAYS operated as Satan’s stealth system: refusing to preach the gospel, emphasizing human appetites and undermining the Word of God in hundreds of stealthy, barely-perceptible ways.

It is only NOW–in the last days–when this rebellion by the churches/those who run the churches has come out in the open that it has been revealed to many of those who hang out in the churches.

There is no fixing the churches: the churches have always been the property of Satan.

There is no “transforming” the churches.

There is no winning back the churches.

At least until the return of Jesus Christ.

End Times Theft: Locks and Lawlessness

padlock“Thou shalt not steal.”
–Exodus 20:15

Recently someone lamented that a thief had cut a padlock off of the door of a small shed owned by an acquaintance and had stolen its contents.

Also lamented was the increasing likelihood of this sort of action taking place.

It was then pointed out that a lock is only effective against the law abiding.

Which provoked a discussion–which prompted the following observation.

Some people just want to FEEL safer.  It does not matter if they are actually secure: they just want to FEEL they are secure. One example used was the lady who sleeps with a pistol beside her bed–but does not know how to use a pistol.  The lady just wants to experience the safer feeling that having a weapon nearby provides.

Back to LOCKS.

No lock ever stops a determined thief.

Even the strongest of locked containers (a safe) does not stop the very determined thief.  It may slow the thief down, but if he is really determined to have what the safe contains, he will eventually break into it IF he has the time and inclination.

IF a society is generally law abiding, locks are generally effective protections against someone making off with one’s property.

IF a society is generally lawless, then locks are generally not worth the trouble.

Perhaps this is reflected in THEFT (according to the Bible) being so prevalent in the end times.

It has NOTHING to do with the availability of locks.

It has EVERYTHING to do with the general lawlessness and sinfulness of end times man.

“Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”
–Revelation 9:21

DOES the reader feel “safer” if his goods are locked up?

DOES the reader believe that some men have always been evil and locks have always prevented theft. Therefore, locks will always be used to prevent theft?

FREEDOM Is Just Another Word for Breaking the Bands of the LORD Asunder

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”
–Psalm 2:1-3

Freedom” is a word much used by Americans, their government, their educational system, their media–in short, by almost ALL Americans, particularly those in control.

But “freedom” is a word which is understood differently by those in control and by “the tired, the poor, the huddled masses, yearning to breathe free.”

To most ordinary Americans, “freedom” means living without having to bother about hundreds of pedantic rules and the rules-makers who manufacture those rules and laws in order to increase their control.

To most ordinary Americans, “freedom” means having control over one’s affairs and business with minimal interference by the many levels of government which surround them and “eat out their substance.”

Does this sound like the “freedom” most Americans experience?

On the other hand, to those who control those “huddled masses, yearning to breathe free,” “freedom” has quite another meaning.

To the rules-makers; to the string-pullers: “freedom” means breaking free of God’s laws (as detailed in Psalm 2:1-3).

“saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”

The end times are all about Satan deceiving the world into following his plan of man without God Almighty and His Son, Jesus Christ.

In this regard, America was founded–and is a symbol of that wicked pursuit; of that Jesus-free “freedom.”

Is there any other reason America’s symbol is the Statue of Liberty, a pagan goddess with a broken chain lying at her feet?

Is there any other reason one popular “praise and worship” song in the pagan churches is titled “Breaking Every Chain“?

MORE: Apostate Church: Breaking Every Chain

When next the reader hears the government/media/entertainment or other propaganda delivery agent prattling on and on about “freedom,” ponder these words and see if their “freedom” doesn’t follow the Psalm 2 model of the wicked rulers, who “take counsel against the LORD and His anointed (Jesus Christ).

It is for sure that many end times Americans do NOT enjoy freedom as those huddled masses understand it.

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
–2Corinthians 3:17

[NOTE: There is much more to this topic.  At some point in the future, the topic will be explored once again.]

Does the reader imagine that everyone–including the rich and celebrated–understand words to mean the same things?

Does the reader believe the Bible is a “book of rules only used to help control people“?
