A great many are deluded about the nature of the United States of America.
Perhaps the reader has heard these folks speaking of “America is a Christian nation” or “America was founded as a Christian nation“?
America was NOT founded as a Christian nation nor was it EVER a Christian nation. The evidence surrounds the American everywhere he turns–if he has eyes to see.
When he shops, when he turns on his radio or TV, when he takes a drive in his car, when he walks through any village, town or city: no matter where he goes OR what he is doing, the proof that America was founded on principles opposite those in the Bible abounds.
America was ALWAYS held up as a place where one can make a buck.
Land of Opportunity!
America has ALWAYS been a place where material goods held a high place among the peoples’ values.
The American Dream!
America has always been promoted as a place where a person who worked hard at pursuing the things of the world could succeed in obtaining those things of the world.
The American Way!
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

“…The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life”
There’s no better description of every advertising campaign ever.
America is–and always has been–a country dedicated to 1-the things of the world; and 2-the material comforts and appetites of the people who populated this country.
DOES the reader believe America was founded as a Christian country; to be a beacon of light in a dark world?
DOES the reader believe that “God wants to bless His people” with material goods and services?
IF the reader said “Yes!“, then why does the reader suppose there are so many warnings about such material “blessings” (“things of the world“) in the Bible?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
