The world places great value on that which can be seen, heard, touched, tasted and/or smelled.
In other words: the world values those things which can be experienced by a man’s senses.
Which is the main reason the world tries to prepare for the unknown in a PHYSICAL manner.
PHYSICALLY preparing for the end times is the domain of the survivalists, preppers and all of those who KNOW something is not right, but can’t put their finger on it.
Because the world has a stake in keeping the public in the dark (for maximum chaos when end times disaster DOES strike), it will naturally focus on physical preparations. Though such actions DO sound prudent (upon first hearing them), should one believe man’s stories or God’s Word in order to help one’s chances of survival in the end times?
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
–Proverbs 3:5
“For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.”
–Psalm 44:6
“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”
–Psalm 118:8
One CANNOT physically prepare for the end times.
IF one believes he can, then one believes he can outsmart God Himself–who is the One who brings about end times events for a very particular reason.
“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
–Revelation 3:10

And if the reader does not believe in God Almighty?
It doesn’t matter: not believing will not stop what is to happen from happening.
And if the reader thinks a “wait and see” attitude is wise?
Again, by the time the reader has waited long enough to assure himself, it most likely will be too late to save himself and/or his family.
After all, it takes no faith once one can see with one’s eyes.
One way the reader can know that physical preparations are just busy work. Those who advocate physical preparations emphasize how making such physical preparations can ease the mind of the prepper. BUT, as anyone who has been involved in such preparations can attest: one NEVER feels like one has done ENOUGH to prepare. One is always “looking over one’s shoulder,” worrying that one has forgotten to include something in one’s preparations.
Those who attempt to prepare physically are great LIST MAKERS–so as not to forget anything important.
This sounds like anything but peace of mind for the prepper.
SO, IF it is futile to prepare physically, then how is one to prepare?
There is ONLY one effective way: spiritually, by making preparations which address what is coming, why it is coming and what can be done.
END TIMES PREPARATION: 15 Ways to Prepare for the End Times
DOES the reader believe in the power of guns, groceries and gold to preserve oneself?
DOES the reader believe in the power of underground bunkers and/or survival networks to keep one’s self safe during end times calamity?
OR DOES the reader believe in the power of God?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
