The question was recently asked, “What will everyday life in the end times look like?”
God’s Word gives a significant amount of information about the answers to this question.
1- Churches in the end times will continue to grow worse until they reveal themselves to be centers of worship for Satan.
FEW will notice that the churches are part of Satan’s network, not God’s.
MANY will continue to attend church and to have the churches bless many aspects of their everyday lives. This is done because man wants others to believe that he is a “good person.”
We know ALL who dwell upon the earth in the end times worship Satan–whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb (which is FEW).
“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
–Revelation 13:4,8
2- Jesus (in Revelation 2 and 3) had the apostle John write letters to the seven churches in Asia. FIVE of the seven churches were (less than 80 years after Jesus was crucified) severely compromised.
“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked”
–Revelation 3:17
What does the reader think the end times churches will be like?
3- People in the end times will be busy “living their lives” right up until the moment Jesus Christ returns.
End times mankind–despite hundreds of years of warnings in God’s Word–will be completely taken by surprise by the return of Jesus and the destruction of the existing wicked world.
“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”
–Luke 17:26-30
4- End times man will be busy eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage until the day Jesus Christ returns.
Many of the routines of everyday living will continue in the last days.
“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
–Matthew 24:37-39
5- The signs which the Bible declares can be known to signal the return of Jesus will be explained away by the authorities of the world.
Even now, science, education, entertainment, the media, government, medicine and every other authority of the world raised up by the prince of this world (Satan) explain away the signs of the last days before Jesus Christ returns.
“And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.”
–Mark 13:7-8
6- End times man will make excuses for why the clear signs are not significant.
Man values his comfort above all else and end times man is no exception. Therefore, end times man will look to the comfort of routine and his everyday common activities to assure himself that all is well and no different today than yesterday.
7- Since we are living in the end times (regardless of what one believes otherwise), life will look–for a while at least–much like it looks in many places today.
DOES the reader believe that “normal” life will continue on as it has in recent memory?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
