WHAT TO DO WHEN THE MAN OF SIN IS REVEALED
Recently the question was posed, “What can I do once the man of sin is revealed?”
Excellent question.

God’s Word does not give any instructions which SPECIFICALLY cover that event. BUT, the Bible DOES give other instructions which appear to apply to the times after the revelation of the man of sin–which is one of the two signs that Jesus Christ is ready to return and the gathering together of believers is about to take place.
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition”

With all of this in mind, here are a few bits of biblical advice once the man of sin (the false prophet) is revealed.
1- Remember the instructions God’s Word provides to those who want to overcome Satan and his beasts.
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
–Revelation 12:11
2- Anyone who endures any persecution or suffering for the name of Jesus Christ ceases to sin–and becomes a member of the kingdom of heaven. This is the ultimate display of “putting your money where your mouth is.”
It is also a very sure way to ensure that one is blessed for eternity instead of suffering forever and ever.
God rewards such a brave testimony richly.
“Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.”

3- DO NOT under any circumstances RECEIVE THE MARK OF THE BEAST.
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Whoever receives the mark suffers for all eternity. That much is crystal clear.
“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”

4- Regardless of how many people (and how well you think you know those people); regardless of how many from one’s church; regardless of how many authorities follow after the man of sin (the false prophet): DO NOT FOLLOW THE MAN OF SIN.
5- Regardless of how many signs and wonders one sees at this time, God’s Word is clear: end times signs and wonders are from Satan and his pals. Do not be deceived. Do not be fooled.
“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. FALSE ONES
Beware the false ones of the end times!
The Bible says that deception will be everywhere in the end times.
Jesus Christ Himself warned His apostles against the ever present deception–three times in Matthew 24 alone.
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”

“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Who will be doing this end times deceiving?
Though the workers of iniquity deceive every day presently, in the days before the return of Jesus Christ, there are THREE which figure prominently in Biblical warnings.
1- False teachers.
“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”

2- False prophets.
“For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.”

The apostle John gave some advice specifically aimed at those who might fall for false prophets.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

3- False Christs (Messiahs).
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

The man of sin is the false Messiah (also called the false prophet). He will deceive many by performing satanic-powered miracles, signs and lying wonders.
Beware the false ones of the end times!
They will look “religious” and “spiritual” and “holy.”
The false prophet (false Messiah, man of sin) will look a LOT like Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.
BUT he will speak the words of the dragon (Satan).
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”
Beware the false ones of the end times!
Do not let the reader be fooled: no matter how clever or smart or intelligent the reader believes himself to be, Satan is more clever, a better liar and has thousands of years practice in deceiving man.
Satan is a tricky fellow.
Beware of false teachers, false prophets and false Christs (Messiahs) in the end times.

Self-willed Despisers of Authority – Though the linked article’s focus is homosexuality, it serves as a good reminder that those who rebel against the civil authorities rebel against those whom God has installed and, ultimately, God Himself.
OF COURSE, the disobedience of the biblical commands to obey the civil authorities is something that is deeply ingrained into Americans.
Rebellion, revolution and revolt are higher values taught in all American schools.
Every July Fourth, most American celebrate the holiday that commemorates those earlier despisers of authority.
America’s heritage is all about the despisers of authority who turned rebellion into an art form for generations that followed.

THE COMING U.S. LEADER

Every part of the administration is chipping in wherever it can to force even die-hard liberals to lurch to the right in 2016.
A candidate who will promise to “restore American values” and to “earn the respect of our allies and enemies alike” will be the overwhelming favorite.
Whoever the winner in 2016 will be, he will be a combination of Reagan after the futility of Jimmy Carter and Bush II after the frivolity of Bill Clinton.
The next president will be someone who will promise (they always promise, vow, swear, affirm) to get America back on track.
