“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD”
–Deuteronomy 18:10-12

In spite of thousands of years worth of warnings, man has been fascinated with supernatural power.

In particular, illegitimate supernatural power has always had quite an attraction for the lost.

Nothing deceives like power and nothing deceives so completely as illegitimate supernatural power; i.e.; power which is accessed in defiance of the warnings in the Bible.

What is illegitimate supernatural power?

Demonic power OR the power of familiar (evil) spirits.

Whether it is divination (the foretelling of future events or finding of hidden objects) OR necromancy (the supposed talking to the dead) OR witches, wizards or sorcerers (who use the power of familiar spirits for a number of small tasks) OR astrologers (telling one’s future supposedly based on the“stars“) OR charmers (those who exhibit power over various animals) OR ANY who consult with a familiar spirit, such supernatural power is expressly forbidden by God’s Word.

Of course, such power fascinates most men because most men are fascinated by ANY power which others do not have–regardless of the warnings attached to such power.

The world–as well as the users of such power–tell a great many tales in order to deceive other men about the source of their power. Witches and sorcerers tells stories of hexes, spells and curses; astrologers supposedly get their information from the stars; necromancers and fortune tellers spin stories about their power coming from “the earth” or “within” or from conversations with the “dead” or a number of other cover stories; psychics and fortune tellers tell tall tales about where their “power” comes from: ALL attempt to disguise the fact that they have a familiar spirit and that spirit does all the heavy lifting for them.

The world assists in this deception.

Recently, a number of videos concerning psychics was viewed.

It was noticed that these videos, while warning viewers about psychics, concentrated on warning their viewers that psychics were nothing more than con men (which some of them are). NOTHING was said about the many psychics who employ familiar spirits and who deceive their clients about where the information come from which the psychic gives to the client.

One report stated that psychics are part of a multi-billion-dollar-a-year business. These reports were incredulous that so many people paid so many psychics so much money.

BUT not a word was uttered about WHY people are deceived by psychics.

People know if they are given information that no other men know. MOST people know if they are being scammed by cold reading or hot reading.

But most people DO NOT know when a psychic gives them information that no other man would know WHERE that information came from.

Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) tries to portray those who employ illegitimate supernatural power as charlatans who use little more than parlor tricks and gimmicks in order to fool their audience (and there is some of that happening). The media has totally remained silent on the efficiency of using familiar spirits–as has been recorded for centuries.

As this is the end times, the reader should not expect a burst of truth from the media on ANY of those who use familiar spirits.

And, as this is the end times, those who use familiar spirits should not expect a fair shake from the spirits which manipulate them.

DOES the reader marvel at those who can provide information about relatives who have long since passed away?

IS the reader amazed at the information fortune tellers, psychics and the like can provide to the curious?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

DOES the reader believe he is saved?
