Recognizing the Problem

“Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.”
–Luke 15:8-10

One HUGE problem with explaining salvation to the lost is that almost ALL cannot grasp that they are lost.

Actually, one suspects it is a combination of factors–rather than mere ignorance–which keeps the lost firmly firmly in the world’s thrall.

Some will not know what is being discussed.

Some will PRETEND to not know what is being discussed.

Some will insist that they are not lost, whether they are aware of their true state of affairs or not.

Of this last group, a great many will grow ANGRY that someone is declaring that they are not perfectly fine; i.e., lost.

At first, this anger caused some bafflement.

Why was this person becoming angry at being warned?

What was it exactly that had upset this person?

Was the anger the result of the warning given, or was there something else at work?

These were questions which needed to be answered, as this anger was often displayed by many of those who were most obviously lost.  It did not appear this emotion was feigned.  Soon, it became apparent that one reason those who became upset got so angry was the suggestion that all was not right in their life.

This was determined by their reactions.

“Lost?  I know exactly where I am and where I am going!  I’m not lost!”

“Who are you to say I’m lost?  Who are you to judge?”

“I’m not lost!  I’m fine.”

Of the group who truly did not understand about being lost, many seemed genuinely pleased at the explanation given–whether they ultimately availed themselves of the solution offered. Of the three groups, this first bunch was by far the smallest numerically.

Of the group which pretended to be confused about the topic, there was an almost universal rejection of the explanation and solution.

Of those who defiantly insisted they were not lost, there was an almost universal rejection of the explanation and solution offered–even when the subject came up because the person originally had declared what a mess their life was.

After much thought, it was determined that

  1. if a person does not recognize that they have a problem, no solution can be  found.
  2. if a person INSISTS they have no problem, then ANY solution offered will be rejected.

So, does this mean that all who insist they are perfectly fine will NEVER find salvation?

No.

It may only mean that these men do not yet recognize that they have a problem.  As long as they can continue on in their circumstance, they will do as they always have done.

It might also mean that perhaps those who claim they are not lost are NOT READY for a solution.

Yet.

As their life worsens, these may grow  more desperate and at last become willing to undertake measures they earlier rejected.

For all who offer the gospel of Jesus Christ, hope springs eternal.

Believers know the depravity of man, but they also know that some who reject the truth today may recognize they have a problem tomorrow.

“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”
–Matthew 19:26

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”
–Jeremiah 32:27

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
–Luke 1:37

And with recognition of one’s problem, often there comes a desire for a solution to that problem.

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Biblical Warnings and Incomplete Information

warning: incomplete information

“And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”
–Mark 13:37

Concerning the Word of God: the world has it wrong.

Of course.

The Bible is an instructional manual, complete with warnings, instructions, troubleshooting info about life and other vital information to ensure that man lives a happy, contented, fruitful life.

BUT the world views the Bible in a MUCH different manner.

The world sees God’s Word as a “Book of Don’t’s.

Don’t do this.

Don’t do that.

The world views the Bible as a book of restrictions, intent on sucking the FUN! out of life.

For believers, it is much easier to see the truth in all that is written in God’s Word.

For those firmly entrenched in the world, it is very difficult to see the truth of God’s Word.

The worldly ones definitely DO NOT UNDERSTAND God’s Word: most are confused because God’s Word is foolishness to them.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
–1CORINTHIANS 2:14

Most likely the worldly one does not believe the Bible AT ALL; having been taught from an early age that the Bible is merely another book of the scribblings of fallible men.

BUT, the one who is in the world is making his judgment about God Word based on INCOMPLETE INFORMATION.

It is like a teenager who is tearing up the road at night in a new sports car.  It is dark, but the teen has faith in his car; in his (paltry) driving ability; in his youthful confidence to handle any and all adverse circumstances which arise.  A man is by the side of the road, waving a flashlight and yelling something.  The youthful driver slows down, lowers the window and the man tells the driver that the bridge is out ahead.  Since it only has just fallen, there has been no time for the authorities to erect a sign or to warn motorists.  Therefore, this lone man is taking it on himself to warn drivers approaching the bridge.

The youth raises his window and continues on his way.  In his mind, he is reasoning, “That bridge was one of the best ever constructed.  It can’t be down! If it was really down, surely I would have heard about it on TV or the radio. That guy must be crazy!”

Apparently, the bridge had JUST fallen down and the youth is making his decision about the warning he received based on INCOMPLETE INFORMATION.

Many of the warnings in the Bible would make perfect sense IF man knew all there was to know.

You know, like God Almighty.

But man does NOT know all that there is to know, so the many warnings of the Bible have to be taken on faith–and FAITH in the things of heaven is something the workers of iniquity lack.

So, many of the warnings given are questioned by deceived man–who does NOT have all the information needed to make a sound decision on such warnings.

IF deceived man DID have all of the information about the events about which the Bible is warning, he might make a completely different decision concerning those warnings.

Man does NOT know all that there is to know.  One day, believers shall know all.  But until then, believers rely on faith: faith in Jesus Christ; faith in God the Father; faith in God’s Word and in the Holy Spirit of God.

Non-believers have no such faith on which to rely.  All these poor souls have is a deep contempt for the only source of truth in the world.

Which is one particular reason they try to make judgments concerning the Word of God while relying on INCOMPLETE INFORMATION.

DOES the reader heed the warnings in the Bible–though the reader may not completely understand everything about such warnings?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

Hidden? No Secrets

top secret

“For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.”
–Luke 12:2

“It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.”
–Matthew 10:25-26

There are several reasons that the wicked do not want their wicked deeds to be known by the public.

In fact, there are a number of fairly comon reasons why men prefer that the evil that they do remain hidden.

A few of these reasons are:

  1. They do not want to give their victims any warning about what is they have planned.
  2. They hope that they can perform their evil works anonymously, without anyone knowing who is responsible.
  3. They hope to be able to deny any knowledge of their nefarious actions if their plans are discovered beforehand.

So, it is quite natural for men to hide their actions when they do not want others to know about them, either ahead of time, after they have taken place OR at all times, both before and after.

Hiding one’s evil actions from the authorities is so commonplace, CONSPIRACY is one of the most common federal crimes. YET, the government/media would have the public believe that the CONSPIRACIES only exist in the minds of the unstable.

MORE: TRUE CONSPIRACIES: End Times Conspiracies are a Reality

So, a great deal of deception is undertaken in the shadows: out of the light of the public’s knowledge.  Since the end times is a time of overwhelming deception, it makes sense that the workers of iniquity hope to carry out their plans and wickedness in secret.

IF evil men believed their plans and actions would be discovered, perhaps they would rethink their dark projects.

IN FACT, a great amount of foolish evil would, no doubt, be prevented IF the perpetrators believed the cover of secrecy WOULD NOT shield their actions.

God’s Word tells us that no matter how hidden men might think their actions to be, ALL will be revealed upon the return of Jesus Christ.

“Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.”
–1CORINTHIANS 4:5

OF COURSE, those who concoct their antichrist arrangements for the end times, believe that they are protected by layers of supernatural deception.  That they are NOT ultimately protected should be apparent: God’s Word has warned man for CENTURIES of what is to take place in the time before the return of Jesus Christ.

One other thought which might give the wicked cause to pause is the number of times men carefully make sinful plans in their everyday life–and yet they are tripped up by a hundred different snares.

EVEN IF the masses of deceived men do not catch on to the plans of the workers of iniquity (very likely), ALL shall be revealed upon the return of Jesus Christ.  NOTHING shall remain hidden of their carefully-constructed craftiness.

“For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.”
–Luke 8:17

Not only will all be revealed, ALL will be judged by the Perfect Judge.

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.”
–Revelation 20:12-13

It is hard to believe that wicked men put their faith in other wicked men to keep their secrets.

It is harder still to believe that wicked men feel they can hide their deeds from their Creator and Ruler of All Things.

Jesus’ return will shock the truly wicked at the top of Satan’s food chain: their super-secret plans and deeds will be broadcast to the whole world.

And, at long last, the rebellious shall learn a hard lesson.

Though they may have assurances to the contrary: NOTHING is truly hidden and ALL will be revealed.

The wicked will have NO secrets after Jesus’ return.

“Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves.”
–2CORINTHIANS 4:2

Jesus Christ: A “Failure” Who Defines His Enemies

success, failure

During a long search for something else completely, the following quote was unearthed.

“Behold the crucifix; what does it symbolize? Pallid incompetence hanging on a tree.”
Anton LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan

This prompted several totally new searches–this time for those who believed that Jesus had been a failure.

““Well, if it is true that Jesus died and rose again, doesn’t that mean that evil has been conquered?…But there is still a lot of evil in this world,” emotion filled his voice, “And if there is all this evil around us, it seems to me that Jesus failed at his job.”
Did Jesus Fail at His Job?

Some of these pronouncements were from, of course, exalted church folk, such as the pope.

The cross shows us a different way of measuring success. Ours is to plant the seeds. God sees to the fruits of our labors. And if at times our efforts and works seem to fail and not produce fruit, we need to remember that we are followers of Jesus Christ and his life, humanly speaking, ended in failure, the failure of the cross.
Read What Pope Francis Said at New York’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral

Of course the pope qualified his remarks by first referring to “humanly speaking.”

But what part of that declaration stuck in the reader’s mind: the boldly satanic “ended in failure, the failure of the cross” OR the qualifier?

Oddly enough, more of those connected with the churches have written more about the “failure of Jesus” than all of the satanists combined.  While satanists use “Jesus failed” as a defiant call to arms, those who speak for the churches usually use the phrase as a come-on: using “Jesus failed” as an attention-getter before admitting–before the end of the article–that they were “only kidding.”

So, Jesus was unable to do many miracles, offended the congregation, and angered the people into a murderous riot. If that is not a failure, what is?
The Failure of Jesus Christ (and why we need to fail to be like Him)

The slanders of the workers of iniquity seem to follow after the two main lies of the satanists.

1- Those who follow Jesus are “slaves.”
2- Jesus was a “failure.”

There are more, but these two appear to be the main ones at this point in time.

What is interesting is that

1- Those who follow Satan obviously have a thinly-veiled hatred of Jesus Christ.
2- Even though the satanic forces claim that Jesus was inconsequential and a “failure“, nearly 2000 years later, their entire existence–as well as their labor–is defined by their disdain and rebellion against that supposed “failure” of so many years ago: Jesus Christ.

It is little wonder that, in spite of all of their efforts to appear reasonable, satanists are an angry lot.

DOES the reader believe Jesus Christ was a “failure“?

DID the reader arrive at this conclusion on his own, or was he taught from an early age that Jesus was ineffective?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
