The popular culture is growing worse and worse.
The world is growing worse and worse.
Perhaps the reader has noticed?
And by “worse,” it is not meant some nebulous term with no specific meaning.
By “worse,” it is meant the popular culture–in almost very venue; in almost every type and and style; in almost every way–has become a hot mess of a vile, occult stew.
It is NO accident this is occurring. The end times are a time of ever-increasing perversion–and the people who live in the end times have become increasingly tolerant and comfortable with perversity.
As the reader can easily ascertain for himself.
HAS the reader determined that this is the way the world is headed?
Though there are literally dozens of examples of the culture/world/country sliding down the slippery slope, a few–from the last six months–have been collected and follow.
1- A recent trip to a bookstore–once a source of joy and adventure–revealed a very large sales display nearly in the center of the establishment. A large sign announced the theme of the display for all to see: “Witchful Thinking.” “Witchful Thinking” was loaded down with every type of how-to book on the occult, witchcraft and demonology. Filling out the table was a collection of horror, slasher and occult books from the past 200 years, as well as pewter dragonfoot cups and various grave-themed boxes.
NOW, these same types of displays have been seen at bookstores for a long, long time.
BUT previously, they were off to one side and NOT in the center of the store with a LARGE sign.
2- An extended listen to the radio–both broadcast and satellite–featured song lyrics as a musical form of indoctrination. After a thought or two, it was decided that A- this form of indoctrination has ALWAYS taken place (though the pace and intensity of it has very much increased over the past 50 years); and, B- popular music lyrics are perhaps the most PERFECT vehicles for propaganda/indoctrination.

This is because, in order for propaganda to be effective, it must be repeated, over and over and over again. And what is the modern format of popular music radio stations?
And the scheduling of such radio stations is growing worse: less songs, each repeated constantly throughout the day and night.
When the song lyrics spiral down to appeal to the basest instincts of man, it is like listening to a soundtrack to the ratty, corrupt slide of modern man.
3- This sludge-fest has also been noticed at the movie theater.
Movies are Satan’s little presents: chock full of slime, filth, gore and sex jokes–and that’s in the PG-13 offerings.
The worst offender is Walt Disney motion picture conglomerate. Disney is supposedly “family friendly,” but its movies have always slipped in a number of references to sex, the occult and homosexuality. This is especially despicable because these movies are targeted at children and families.
Disney’s promotional departments AND members of its shill networks (masquerading as “fan sites“) never tire of bleating about “diversity.”
“Diversity” = diversity of the perverse.
Disney is heavily promoted by the world as a stickler of “traditional values.” HOWEVER, the only tradition one can be sure is upheld by the studio is its long tradition of poisoning the minds of youngsters while clueless parents look on and smile.
4- Television was once called a “vast wasteland.”
And so it is.
“…when television is bad, nothing is worse. I invite each of you to sit down in front of your television set when your station goes on the air and stay there for a day without a book, without a magazine, without a newspaper, without a profit and loss sheet or a rating book to distract you. Keep your eyes glued to that set until the station signs off. I can assure you that what you will observe is a vast wasteland.”

For decades, TV led the charge down into the abyss. Now, TV has increased competition from streaming, movies, video and computer games, smartphones and other technological advancements in communications.
So TV–while it is still vile–at times seems a bit tame compared to all of the other satanic end times fruits on display.
There are two main defenses to the charge that the culture/world is little more than brain sewage which continually grows worse.
A- Anyone noticing such cultural corruption is “imagining it.”
B- Satan’s tried and true chestnut, “People have always whinged about young adults. Here’s proof.”
OF COURSE, the second “defense” offers NO evidence that the culture/world is NOT growing worse. In fact, this “defense” documents that the coarsening of the culture has been a LONG, EXTENDED process with many complaining of the VILENESS FACTOR for years.
It is interesting to note that NEITHER of these “defenses” deny how bad the culture has become.
Again, has the reader noticed this acceleration of the perverse in the public consciousness?
This discussion–like many others, God willing–will continue…
ONCE more: has the reader noticed the increasing sickness of the culture?
OR, does the reader believe that this is something that all generations have complained about?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
