The grounds cited for stopping drivers included entering an intersection when the light was yellow; or having, on the back of a car, a trailer hitch; or having, in the front of a car, an air freshener hanging from the rearview mirror — you know, the ones shaped like pine trees, the ones so ubiquitous that the president of the Car-Freshner Corporation once told The New York Times Magazine: “We’ve sold billions of trees. Probably right up there with the number of hamburgers McDonald’s sells.”
Can the reader speculate what lesson(s) local police departments have been teaching the public?
[HINT#1: To ANY and ALL readers who believe that they have “rights“: Why aren’t your “rights” protecting you from being stopped for no reason and being required to show your papers?]
[HINT#2: They will NEVER run out of reasons why.]
Once more: during the times in which we live, the world teaches many lesson, both great and small.
The world uses a variety of its agents in order to teach its lessons.
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
