A question which has gone largely unanswered for some over the past 40 years or so (which is NOT the same as that question being talked about) seems to apply today to most end timers:
“Why is everyone in such a hurry?”
It is not like the world hasn’t noticed.
- Why is everyone in such a hurry?
- Why Are People in Such a Hurry?
- Why’s Everyone in Such a Hurry?
- Always In a Rush? Maybe It’s Time Urgency
…and so on and on and on and on and…
One problem with the world trying to answer this question is that the world treats being-in-a-hurry like it does ALL such conditions: as a physical, cause-and-effect problem which must, therefore, have a physical, cause-and-effect solution.

IF One Does Not Know the Problem, One Can Never Find a Solution
But what if “being in a hurry” was only a SYMPTOM of the problem, rather than the problem itself?
Many times, those who are in a hurry seem to be restless, anxious or nervous.
Does any of this provide any clues?
One might find the answer by consulting the Book of Isaiah.
“But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.”
–Isaiah 57:20-21
“There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.”
–Isaiah 48:22
So, perhaps everyone in the end times seem to be in such a hurry because so many “are like the troubled sea when it cannot rest“?
“Are you saying that everyone is WICKED? That’s not just wrong–it’s disgusting!”
OF COURSE NOT.
Everyone knows that end times man is the most pleasant creature ever devised.
Everyone knows that end times man is the pinnacle of man’s achievements.
Everyone knows that end times man is such a sweetheart.
Don’t they?
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
–2TIMOTHY 3:1-5
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
