PART II

Part I – A Few Questions for Those Who Believe This Life is An Illusion

There is more than one way to claim that this life (or reality) is only an illusion.

This article will detail several of those ways.

One of the oldest claims originates in Buddhism.

One tenet of Buddhism is its challenge of reality: many boil this all down to  insisting “life is an illusion.”

Reality in Buddhism is called dharma (Sanskrit) or dhamma (Pali). This word, which is foundational to the conceptual frameworks of the Indian religions, refers in Buddhism to the system of natural laws which constitute the natural order of things. Dharma is therefore reality as-it-is (yatha-bhuta).
[…]
Reality is seen, ultimately, in Buddhism as a form of ‘projection‘, resulting from the fruition (vipaka) of karmic seeds (sankharas). The precise nature of this ‘illusion’ that is the phenomenal universe is debated among different schools.

ANOTHER way to make the same claim was popular in the 1970’s–particularly among the college crowd: this life is nothing more than a dream.

The idea that life might be nothing more than a dream has given thousands of alcohol-addled youth a topic of discussion for years.

Satan’s Mouthpiece regularly presents this proposition to millions of people who have previously not heard of it.

Is Life a Dream?

The ability of the dream world to appear real has led many thinkers—philosopher René Descartes (1641) being the most prominent Western example—to wonder whether the world we experience while awake might itself be a dream. If the dream world feels just as real as the waking one (at least while we are in it), how can we know for sure that we’re not currently living in a dream—a dream from which we may one day wake up?

Is Life Really a Dream?

Thus personal experience, philosophy, and art have endorsed an idea that reality can somehow feel totally wrong under ordinary circumstances. The world feels real and substantial 99% of the time, which is proof enough, one would think.

Can You Prove That This Life Isn’t a Dream?

If I said to you, ‘This life is a dream’, how would you prove me wrong? How would you prove, without a doubt, that we’re not all dreaming and that the true ‘life’ is happening around our sleeping body in another universe?

ONE MORE: The idea that life is not real and is only an illusion got a BIG boost in the late 1990s from the movie, The Matrix and its plot that life/reality was  a computer-simulation.

[The Matrix] depicts a dystopian future in which humanity is unknowingly trapped inside a simulated reality, the Matrix, created by intelligent machines to distract humans while using their bodies as an energy source.

Here’s how to prove that you are a simulation and nothing is real

Physicists Prove That Reality Is Not — Repeat, Not — a Computer Simulation

MORE: The We-Are-Living-in-the-Matrix Scam

ONE LAST modern iteration of this idea seems to be that reality is not really real; that a person has no way of knowing what is real and that reality is only a concept.

OF COURSE, the Corporate Media–with a BIG assist from Science!–has helped in the promotion of this notion.

This has all led to the latest claim: that no one can determine what is real because there is NO such thing as an objective reality.

Which leads into Part III: Does all of this tie in to the recent media/cultural/entertainment/government promotion of virtual–and other false and manufactured realities?

And the BIG questions:

What is behind this promotion that life is not real?

To what advantage is the notion that one cannot determine if reality is real?

Why would Satan–who controls the Corporate Media (Satan’s Mouthpiece) and Science! (an ancient pagan religion)–want to this idea that “life is an illusion” to become popular?

DOES the reader believe that this life is not real?

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

End Times Optimists

optimist

“That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.”
–2THESSALONIANS 2:2

OPTIMIST

a person who is inclined to be hopeful and to expect good outcomes : someone who is given to optimism

In the end times, there are basically two different types of optimists.

The two different types of optimists are primarily distinguished by where each person has placed their hopes and faith for the future.

We will label the two different groups GROUP A and GROUP B.

GROUP A contains the workers of iniquity: the witches, the sorcerers, the satanists, the pagans, the idol worshippers and all those who have placed their faith and hopes for the future in man, the schemes of man and those entities which are highly interested in man and man’s world.

GROUP B contains those few who are real Christians: those who have placed their faith for the future entirely in God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Though both groups will have reason for optimism, only one group will see that optimism ultimately verified by events.

One group will see the realization of its long-awaited hopes and will revel in what they have worked for all of these many years has finally come to fruition.

The other group will suffer greatly during this time–but because God’s Word foretold such affliction, this group will NOT let these setbacks affect its optimism for the future.

IN FACT, such persecution and tribulation–because it was promised as a surety–will only make Group B’s optimism all that more certain.

After a few years, Group A will look like the ones most able to say “I told you so!

After 42 months, those who survive of Group B will prove to the world their hopes throughout the dismal times of the previous three-and-a-half years were based on a clear picture of the future and, because they KNEW God’s Word to be true, they KNEW what was going to happen all along.

Two groups of optimistic, end times people.

But only one group has reason for optimism for very long.

Which group will the reader be in?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

When Deliverance From an Evil Spirit Brings No Joy

joy

“Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them. And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ. “
–Luke 4:40-41

When Jesus Christ walked the earth, he went from town to town; from village to village; from rural area to rural area.

At each stop, Jesus healed the sick and cast out devils. Though many believe these two events are totally NOT connected, they are often one and the same.

“And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.”
–Mark 1:34

At each stop, AFTER Jesus cast out devils from a man, the deliverance from devilish affliction and torment was a joyful one.

IF the torment and affliction of devils is on par with disease in the minds of ancient inhabitants of Israel, then of course, being delivered from such suffering would be a cause for joy.

Those who were able to deliver their fellow man from such suffering also felt joy.

“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.”
–Luke 10:17

BUT, there are times when the casting out of a spirit brings the one delivered great distress.

How can this be?

IF a person is deceived and IF a person believes the possession of an evil (familiar) spirit to be a great treasure which required much work and time in order to have, then the losing of that spirit will likely NOT bring the person joy.

Many who possess unclean spirits (devils) have had to perform a number of tasks and jump through a number of hoops to in order to achieve their spiritual bondage.

But the deceived do not look at their possession as a curse (which it is) or a judgment from God (which it is).

The deceived look at their possession as the result of their having labored long and hard to obtain such a spirit (which they mistakenly believe to be under their “control.“)

So, to lose (what one mistakenly believes) such a source of “power” appears to be a great tragedy, not a blessing.

Can a person even have a spirit cast out against their will?

YES!

“And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers”
–Acts 16:16-19

How might such a circumstance come about: that a person who is possessed by an unclean spirit has the spirit cast out against their will?

There are a number of ways this might take place.

Perhaps a family member or a loved one takes a different view: that being possessed by a devil is a curse instead of a blessing–and prevails upon a member of the kingdom of heaven to perform the deed.

Perhaps the spirit repeatedly provokes a child of God (like the one in the slave girl in Acts 16) and the spirit is cast out as a defensive measure.

Perhaps the deceived person decides (in a brief moment of clarity) to be rid of the afflicting spirit.  But then, the person has second thoughts and changes his mind–but it is too late: the familiar spirit has been cast out.

No matter the circumstance, the person who loses their familiar spirit is deceived–and reacts as a deceived person would in such a situation.

That they have lost something of VALUE–instead of something which was really a weight around their necks.

One woman in such a circumstance shed tears upon losing her familiar spirit.

BUT the deceived needn’t worry: if the person remains deceived and desirous of that familiar, it will return after being cast out.

“When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.”
–Matthew 12:43-45

Because the person is deceived, deliverance from the unclean spirit brings NO joy.

And when the once-cast-out spirit returns with “seven other spirits more wicked than himself“?

Well, it’s no great feat for the deceived to persuade themselves that a horde of wicked spirits is not the source of their physical, emotion and family problems.

They are, after all, deceived.

DOES the reader believe all of the modern stories told about disease, torment and affliction?

DOES the reader place his faith for good health and a peaceful existence in the hands of men in white lab coats?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

In Satan’s End Times World: God is a Master Counterprogrammer

GOD'S WORD: A battleground between God and the enemies of God for centuries.

counterprogramming

In broadcast programming, counterprogramming is the practice of offering television programs to attract an audience from another television station airing a major event. It is also referred when programmers offer something different from the rival’s program as an alternative, to increase the audience size.

Satan (the devil) is the prince of this world.

Satan has also been called the “prince of the power of the air.”

“Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.”
–John 12:31

“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.”
–John 14:30

“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience”
–Ephesians 2:2

As the prince of the world, Satan controls the world’s authorities, media and publications.

As the prince of the power of the air, Satan controls all of the world’s broadcasting.

Satan controls the governments of man.

Satan controls the Corporate Media (Satan’s Mouthpiece).

Satan controls the education system.

Satan controls science and its sidekick, medicine.

Satan controls  finance, money and business.

Satan controls the fashion and style worlds.

These spheres are IN ADDITION to Satan calling the shots for the workers of iniquity (the witches, sorcerers, pagans, wizards, idol worshipers, as well as those with more mundane pursuits and occupations) and all of the schemes of man run by the workers of iniquity.

With all of this worldly control–and this control becomes more unified, more rigid and more complete as man approaches the climax of history (the return of Jesus Christ)–Satan ALMOST has a lock on what the world thinks, what the world believes and what the world feels is important and true.

SO, with practically the entire world, as well as the resources of the world, in Satan’s hands, how does knowledge of God and His Son, Jesus Christ, survive?

The answer?

God is an exceptional counterprogrammer.

God uses TWO main tools to counter the deceptions and lies of Satan: His Word–which is the ONLY source of truth in the world–and His Holy Spirit–as is contained in His followers, who have their testimony of what God and His Son, Jesus Christ, has done for them. His believers also preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the “power of God unto salvation.

God’s Word is the truth.

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
–John 17:17

And God’s Holy Spirit will lead His followers into all truth.

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
–John 16:13

With only these two small, but powerful, assets (the Word of God and the few Spirit-guided believers), the kingdom of heaven has stood against all of the schemes and wiles of the devil–as well as all of Satan’s workers and their trickery–for thousands of years.

How is this possible?

FOR SURE Satan is a tricky fellow.

BUT God knows all things, past, present and future.

FOR SURE Satan is a master deceiver.

BUT those few believers have the Holy Spirit of God to guide them into ALL truth.

FOR SURE Satan has all of the authorities of the world AND controls the edifice of the world.

BUT God is a master counterprogrammer–and God’s exceptional counterprogramming has kept the kingdom of heaven afloat for thousands of years.

Regardless of all the advantages Satan may control in the end times world.

DOES the reader feel he was more “in tune” with God and what the Bible said when he was younger?

DOES the reader have any thoughts as to why this might be?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
