Without a Fear of God

without a fear of God

“For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.”
–Psalm 103:11

The reader only need to take a look around him.

Without a fear of God, men will hatch the most foolish plans to do wickedly.

NOT ONLY THAT, but other men will follow these wicked, foolish plans because they are terrified of being thought of a “someone who does not go along with the crowd; a troublemaker.”

(They also fear the men behind those plans and the consequences of all those who do not get in line and play along.)

Yes, the end times are proof positive that without a fear of God, men will do the most wicked, evil things.

“By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.”
–Proverbs 16:6

In some cases, it has taken the associations of certain men CENTURIES to lose all vestiges of a fear of God.

In the end times, a fear of God has mostly been replaced by a fear of man.

Over the years, this fear of man has been carefully taught and nurtured–by education, by the media, by entertainment, by the culture.

When a man has a fear of God, he attains superb peace of mind.

When a man has a fear of man, he is frightened by his own shadow.

“The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.”
–Proverbs 28:1

Having men with an easily frightened state of mind  assists the plans of Satan, the workers of iniquity and the man of sin: it is far easier to herd the multitudes of men IF those men are scared and frightened.

Yes, without a fear of God, men will hatch the most foolish plans to do wickedly.

And other men will do as they are told by the wicked men because they are so scared and want to be saved.

And without a fear of God, man is condemned to a fear of man.

“The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.”
–Psalm 145:18-19

DOES the reader fear man or God?

Which fear influences the most decisions?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
