ALL men must die.
There is no escaping this truth: though various men have struggled and wiggled and squirmed to avoid it, ALL men must die.
Even those who believe themselves clever enough to avoid death.
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”

“Is this world all there is?” is a question which has interested mankind for centuries. It STILL interests man.

When men reject the truth of God’s Word, they are FORCED to settle for the lies of the world–and those lies are NOT designed to bring comfort to the afflicted.
In the times in which we live, a number of stories have been introduced to supplant the truth of God’s Word. One of the most popular stories is that man is living in a computer simulation (as was portrayed in the 1999 movie, The Matrix).

Simulation hypothesis is one of the stories used to help explain away the false reality which has been painstakingly erected over the years in order to deceive modern man. And because of constant repetition (and because modern man desires to be deceived so badly), this grand deception has been remarkably effective.
Modern man may be deceived, but so many notice the large number of incongruities between what man has been taught–and believes–about the world which surrounds him and what man notices while living in that world.

It is little wonder that those who have placed so much of their faith and attention on this world–and the things of this world–feel a great emptiness and sadness at the prospect of their time on this earth ending.
Is this world all there is?
God’s Word informs the reader of the answer to this question–and “NO,” this world is NOT all there is.
“Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”
–Ecclesiastes 12:7
“Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile”

What is the answer to this emptiness and sadness?
Believing and embracing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”

Who believes this world is all there is?
Those who are deceived beyond words.
Is this world all there is?
The answer to this age-old question is one which deceived modern man almost universally rejects.
When Men Cease to Believe the Truth, They will Believe Anything
Which is one reason modern man prefers the stories of science, education, entertainment and culture to the truth of God’s Word.
HAS the reader put all of his eggs into the world’s basket?
HAS the reader ever wondered “Is this world all there is?”
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
