While running errands recently, the eye was attracted to a message on one of those signs which are located outside of churches.
“Sin is like a credit card–Have fun today, pay later.”
Upon seeing the message, almost IMMEDIATELY, two thoughts formed.
1 – How odd that a building which claims to be the “house of God” would perpetuate the satanic canard that sin is about “fun.”

Sin is rebellion against God which MAY offer temporary pleasures at the beginning.
But eventually–usually quite quickly–the pleasurable sensations cease and the only thing left is the rebellion against God.
Many continue their sin, long after any pleasure is present, in hopes that the “fun” will return.
2 – So many of the churches offer the platitudes of the world instead of the Word of God.
Instead of something rooted in the Word of God, something considered CLEVER; something considered FUNNY; something considered MILDLY AMUSING is offered.
Has the reader ever wondered why this is?
The Mixed Messages From Church Signs
DOES the reader find this assessment to be a harsh one?
DOES the reader look for a church sign in hopes the sign displays something he can repeat when he meets others?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
