This is Only a Test: The Most Important Test of All

This life is a test, it is only a test

“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ”
–1PETER 1:7-9

From the time the reader was in elementary school, the reader has been tested from time to time for one thing or another.

There were tests in school in order to gauge how proficient the reader was in English or spelling or reading or mathematics.

There were tests to demonstrate the mastery of certain skills, such as those necessary to be a lifeguard OR how to safely drive a car.

And, as the reader grew older, the tests likely checked skills having to do with one’s place of work.

If one was an accountant, one had to demonstrate the skills of keeping accounts.

If one was a policeman, one had to display a proficiency with a pistol and a knowledge of local ordinances and laws.

If one worked in an office, a knowledge of the various skills associated with this type of work (typewriter, computer, knowledge of various computer programs, answering the phone in a friendly, competent manner) might be tested from time to time.

Once one thinks about it, life is but one long, unending series of tests.

HOWEVER, there is ONE test which the reader wants to pass, whether he is now aware of it or not.

That test is the one which is made up of various end times events.

NOW, a test is absolutely NOT necessary for God to perfectly judge a man: God knows the heart of a man, as well as a man’s deeds and behaviors.

“But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.”
–1SAMUEL 16:7

“Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.”
–Psalm 44:21

“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.”
–Proverbs 21:2

The end times is a test to shut the mouths of all who will later claim, “But I’m a good person! I wouldn’t do that!

And God will be able to point to the exact time and place where the man did just exactly what he is claiming he would not do.

The events of the end times will test a man to see if he will choose God over Satan; if he will choose the Word of God over the words of the world; if he will choose Jesus Christ over the false prophet.

And, very importantly, whether the reader will choose the temporary comforts, pleasures and things of this present world over eternal joy and happiness.

ALL grading will be done on a strictly pass/fail system.

There will be NO do-overs.

The end times will be the most IMPORTANT test the reader EVER takes.

Prayers are offered that all will pass with flying colors.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
