“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”
–John 16:7-11
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
–Hebrews 9:27
Regardless of whether one believes one will face a final judgment or not will NOT affect whether that skeptic stands in front of the Perfect Judge–who will then judge him perfectly.
Those skeptical about a final judgment can point to the agreement of other men on that point.
But it will make no difference how many agree that a final judgment will NOT happen: everyone WILL be judged (despite the world’s present strong distaste for being judged).
And the one doing the judging will be the Perfect Judge–which should come as a relief to all those who thought that day was only an imagination.
This should come as a relief because the Perfect Judge–unlike man–will not be affected by flowery words and excuses.
Also of importance: one’s station in this life will NOT matter to the Perfect Judge.
Whether one was important in life or rich or famous will NOT matter.
“It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.”
–Proverbs 24:23
And Jesus Christ–someone the world has spent the last 2000 years blaspheming–will render the final verdict on each soul.
“For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.”
–Romans 14:10
“Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”
–Acts 17:31
“In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.”
–Romans 2:16
“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.”
–Romans 5:14-15
“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then shall he render unto every man according to his deeds.”
–Matthew 16:27
What man would deny a Creator the right to judge His Creation?
What man would deny that One who creates something the right to judge His creation as He sees fit?
“Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why didst thou make me thus? Or hath not the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor? What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering vessels of wrath fitted unto destruction: and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he afore prepared unto glory, even us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles? As he saith also in Hosea, I will call that my people, which was not my people; And her beloved, that was not beloved.”
–Romans 9:20-25
And in that day when the Perfect Judge hands down his final decision on each and every soul–and all decisions ARE final–ALL who denied Jesus WILL be judged by Him.
The false teachers who insisted that those who did not know Jesus were really His will be judged as false teachers–and will be judged more harshly than they otherwise might have been.
“Be not many of you teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment.”
—James 3:1
And in that day, the Perfect Judge will judge perfectly in each and every case.
“And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.”
–Revelation 20:12
“I, Jehovah, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”
–Jeremiah 17:10
And in that day, a great many will protest that they have done many good deeds–and so should receive much credit for their good deeds.
BUT, what man, whose mother was murdered by a drifter and the drifter, being caught, is brought before a judge; and the judge hears the case and the drifter says, “Yeah, I killed her BUT I spent every Wednesday dressing up as a clown and entertaining children at the local hospital.”
What man, would think a judge competent IF the judge said, “You know, I understand you killed this man’s mother, BUT you have done so much good on Wednesdays that I’m going to let you off with a stiff warning this time.”?
NO man would respect a judge handing down such a poor judgment–and all those who stand in final judgment will at least NOT have to worry about being the victim of poor judgment.
Poor judgment by the Perfect Judge will be the least of their worries.
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
