“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
–James 1:17
For any who are watching for signs of the end times, here’s a tip-off: the end times are FULL of changes: of situations which have NEVER happened before in the known history of man.
OF COURSE, since end times man is deceived, end times man will believe the various and sundry reasons he is given for the many changes which are occurring.
BUT, a few will have at least one eye open.
And that MAY be enough to save their themselves.
Jesus Christ warned ALL MEN to watch.
“And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
–Mark 13:37
Unfortunately, only a very few obey that very succinct warning of Jesus.
And so, a great many changes will happen during the end times. These changes would be enough to alert MOST people during any other time; but, during the end times, the world is deceived; lulled spiritually asleep by Satan and his workers of iniquity.
“And the great dragon…that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world”
–Revelation 12:9
IF the men of the world were not deceived, they most probably would be alerted by the many changes happening around them. BUT, since so many are deceived, they will ignore the many changes and take comfort in the notion that at some point, “things will get back to normal.”
After all, isn’t that what everyone is saying?
God does not change, but God’s creation (man and the world he inhabits) will see a great many changes during the end times.
This is a tip-off.
“For I am the LORD, I change not”
–Malachi 3:6
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
–Hebrews 13:8
“Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.”
–Psalm 102:25-27
IF the reader has at least one eye open, he will see the many changes of the end times and be alert.
The reader will WATCH and save himself.
DOES the reader believe all of the changes which have occurred so far are nothing more than a regular part of life?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
