Hypothetical Question (now frequently referred to as a “Thought Experiment.”)
Thought experiments, which are well-structured, well-defined hypothetical questions that employ subjunctive reasoning (irrealis moods) – “What might happen (or, what might have happened) if . . . ” – have been used to pose questions in philosophy at least since Greek antiquity, some pre-dating Socrates.
So BASICALLY, hypothetical questions consist of asking “WHAT IF?”
Here are a few questions of a hypothetical nature the reader may keep in mind during the end times.
- WHAT IF the United States was SUDDENLY attacked by those nations posing as adversaries?
- WHAT IF American civilians suffered a GREAT MANY casualties in this conflict?
- Might a severely bombed and severely beaten American public BADLY want a peace treaty to stop the carnage on the home front?
- WHAT IF someone appeared who the world claimed was responsible for bringing an end to the war and its devastation?
- WHAT IF Americans felt they were on the road to a better life after the war because of this man? WHAT IF America seemed to be more prosperous because of its post-war circumstance?
- Wouldn’t Americans be favorably predisposed toward this person?
- Furthermore, WHAT IF this person was claimed to be responsible for a GREAT MANY wonderful events (such as free, clean energy)?
- Wouldn’t Americans follow a man such as this?
The reader may want to consider such hypothetical questions.
The reader may find that pondering such theoretical questions and answers have very REAL WORLD consequences.
“And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”
–Revelation 13:3-4
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
