“Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.”
–1CRONICLES 16:11
One end times activity in which man may PROFITABLY engage is the search for the LORD.
One of God’s promises, which can be found in His Word, is that ALL who sincerely and truthfully seek the LORD will find Him.
“I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.”
–Proverbs 8:17
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
–Jeremiah 29:13
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
–Hebrews 11:6
“But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.”
–Deuteronomy 4:29
Notice that this search for the LORD is conditional.
Those who seek God MUST do so “early,” “with all thy heart,” “with all they soul,” “diligently“: otherwise, they are wasting their time.
Adopting a “wait-and-see” attitude while seeking God is an exercise in futility.
Those who seek God may be surprised that God is not as far off as one might think. God is EVERYWHERE–including the past, present and future.
“That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us”
–Acts 17:27
By finding the LORD, the reader may assure himself of provision when others are in need.
By finding the LORD, the reader will KNOW peace when others know fear.
By finding the LORD, the reader can KNOW the TRUTH of the world which surrounds him–instead of the many lies he is told EVERY DAY.
One bit of advice to ALL who think they may want to seek the LORD.
Do NOT wait.
Remember: if one is to seek out God, one is to seek Him “early.”
IF the reader waits until “things get bad,” before he seeks the LORD, the reader will NOT find God. This is another of God’s promises.
God is NO ONE’s Plan B.
“Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
–Isaiah 55:6-7
Do NOT wait.
God is NOT a one-way street, craving the reader’s attention.
God will ONLY reveal Himself to those who SINCERELY desire that revelation–and God, knowing a man’s heart, KNOWS if a man is SINCERELY seeking God.
“And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded: And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.”
–2CHRONICLES 15:2
“Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah. And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.”
–2 CHRONICLES 26:1,5
Still, for all of that, SINCERELY and TRUTHFULLY seeking the LORD God WITH ALL OF ONE’S HEART is one of the most profitable end times activities in which one can engage.
As Jesus Himself said
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”
–Matthew 7:7-8
HAS the reader ever thought of seeking God?
HAS this thought ever been more than just a passing fancy?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
