SCIENCE AND SPACE ALIENS
Those who regularly peruse the daily offering of stories in the scientific press, surely have noticed how the stories of science have begun, during the past ten or so years, to focus on all things “outer space“–including stories of science about life on other planets, extraterrestrial civilizations and space aliens.
To any who focus instead on God’ Word, this is a natural development, as the end times in which we live are a time of GREAT DECEPTION.

And one of the end times’ GREATEST deceptions is the one about ETs, UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?
And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?
Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?
IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.
What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?
Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”
One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.
Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”
Oh–and pro wrestling…
One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.
Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.
Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

IN TIMES OF TROUBLE, WHO DOESN’T NEED A STRONG TOWER?
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.”

Many are the promises contained in the Word of God, of PROTECTION for those who put their trust in the LORD.
Several of these promises liken the LORD’s protection to a “strong tower.”
“For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.”
–Psalm 61:3
“I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
Psalm 91:2
“The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”

During the utter chaos and destruction of the last days, any place of refuge–a strong tower, if you will–will be in short supply.
THEREFORE, those who trust in the LORD have a place of refuge which He alone can offer.
The refuge may offer a respite from calamity for a few days, a few months or a few minutes: it makes little difference to one who is trying to catch his breath from all of the destruction and judgment which will be going on at the time.
Who doesn’t need a strong tower to run into during times of trouble?
Just one more benefit to being one of the FEW who trust God and His Son, Jesus Christ, during the last days.
HOWEVER, it should be pointed out that it matters not how strong the tower may be IF one chooses NOT to run to it in times of trouble.
“O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.”

JUST a REMINDER: almost all effective lies are claimed to be “fact-based.”

A WORLD OF NO FAITH
“Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.”

A great many of the prescriptions given in God’s Word for the times in which we now live call for “faith.”
However, during the last days, MOST do not have faith OR have been taught to place their trust in the people and things of the world; things which can be seen, which, by definition, requires NO faith.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. “

In fact, this near-universal LACK OF FAITH during the end times was mentioned by Jesus Christ Himself.
“Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”

The answer to that question posed so long ago (and an answer which was already known by Jesus) is that “There will be faith on earth at the return of Jesus Christ–ONLY it will be faith in the things of the world.”
So, the $64 Question is “How do any get saved during the end times if there is NO faith, faith being a prerequisite of salvation?”
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Which prompts ONE MORE question: “How does anyone gain salvation if the world has been taught that there REALLY is no God and that Jesus is a fiction?”
One cannot have faith in something in which one does NOT believe.
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

The short answer to the question, “How does anyone gain salvation if the world has been taught that there REALLY is no God and that Jesus is a fiction?” is “God can do ANYTHING–including save those who previously had no faith.”
For evidence, one only need look at the apostle Paul, who spent his younger days prosecuting the followers of Jesus and then SUDDENLY became an apostle of Jesus.
“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.”

God can do ANYTHING.
And God’s mercy is everlasting.

So, there are a FEW who will be saved by the mercy (grace) of God.
Including, it is presumed, those who AT THE PRESENT MOMENT exhibit no faith in God or His Son, Jesus Christ.

Actually, “left” and “right” are artificial constructs; the two sides of the same political coin.
If anything, they are two nearly-identical points on the diameter of a circle.

WHERE IN THE END TIMES ARE WE?
“And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.”

During the past few weeks, a quite spirited discussion has broken out on the topic of “Where are we in the end times–IF we are in the end times?”
Several points were generally agreed on.
1- We are now living in the end times.
Looking For the End Times: Too Late, the End Times Have Been Here for Some Time
2- The world is deceptive and getting worse by the day.
3- There are still prophecies of the end times left to be fulfilled.
Several points were vigorously disputed.
1- Mankind will know when the very last days before the return of Jesus Christ will occur.
One point of view was that man will know the time immediately before the return of Jesus Christ from the prophetic events recorded in the Book of Revelation.
Another point of view was that mankind will be so deceived, none will know anything except what they are told by the dragon and the man of sin. Mankind will certainly not believe God’s Word, even though they will see the events unfold with their own eyes: such is the power of deception.
2- Generally, it was agreed that BELIEVERS will know the times, due to the presence of the Holy Spirit, who will lead them into all truth.
However, it was pointed out that while the Holy Spirit will lead the believer into all truth, the believer has to be led. The Holy Spirit will not force the believer into believing the truth.
3- Mankind will know the end is near from the many events recorded in Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 17 and 21 and the Book of Revelation (as well as several Old Testament prophecies).
Mankind will NOT know the end is near because mankind hates Jesus Christ and His followers so vehemently, their reasoning and vision will be clouded.
4- We are living on the edge of the very last days. Most of the events detailed in Revelation could take place in a matter of months, weeks or days. This includes the institution of the one-world government (which some believe to be already in place, if not yet made known publicly).
We may be living on the edge of the very last days, but it makes no difference due to man’s wicked heart and the ubiquitous deception present in the world. Most of mankind is enmeshed in an entirely different version–their own deceived version–of reality. This deceived, false reality is fed by the world and all of the world’s authorities.
This discussion will continue.

FAREWELL TO CARS
This is all starting to sound very familiar.
Ban Cars – This is a theme which the media is beginning to promote.
Does it sound impossible? It’s already happening in a lot of places. Oslo is working on banning all cars from its city center by 2019. So are Helsinki, Madrid, Hamburg, and Parisin various ways. London has heavily restricted them in its downtown. A thriving business district in Johannesburg got rid of all its cars for a month. Even the US has done this, on a smaller scale: New York City has barred them from Times Square, and San Francisco has kicked them off a stretch of its Market Street.
As stated in this corner, cars (for whatever reason(s) given) will be a thing of the past in the near future.

A BIPARTISAN MELTDOWN
REPUBLICANS BREAK CAMPAIGN PROMISES: Budget deal fully funds ObamaCare and illegal amnesty – Remember this the next time the “Obama-friendly media” calls it the “Obama amnesty.”
Amnesty couldn’t have gotten off the ground if the Republican House didn’t fund it–which they just did.
Remember this the next time the GOP promises to repeal ObamaCare.
Every time Republicans have had a chance, they have NOT repealed ObamaCare: they have funded it.
HOWEVER, the REAL story behind this headline is the continued storyline the Corporate Media keeps promoting:
America’s system is broken.
It doesn’t work.
We need a new system.
GOD IS NOT DOING A NEW THING
So many in the churches attempt to hide their apostasy behind “God is doing a new thing.”
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
–Hebrews 13:8
With each new antichrist action and pronouncement, the apostates wave away any protests by chirping “God is doing a new thing!”
And so, in this way, they may fool each other.
Between the Old and the New Prophet
“Even though we are now in the new order of things, a new order of worshiping God, not everyone has this revelation.”
“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.”

So many appear fascinated with a “new thing” or a “new way” or a “new order.”
“But they said, We will not walk therein.”
That seems to be the story of many 2013 Americans–particularly the church folk.
THE END OF WORK?
One of Satan’s Mouthpiece’s main jobs is to challenge God’s Word whenever possible.
“In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”

That’s the problem with refusing the truth of God’s Word: one will then believe ANYTHING.
