“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. “
–Matthew 7:13-14
IF there is a conflict between what the churches claim and what Jesus Christ says: the reader should ALWAYS go with what Jesus says.
This is particularly true concerning the topic of eternal salvation.
The churches claim that each particular flavor of church has uncovered the secret of gaining eternal life and will share it will ALL who give their allegiance to that particular church.
Jesus said that there are FEW who find the narrow way to life: thereby gaining life everlasting.
And so, the church folk stumble merrily along their way, believing they have secured eternal life, due to their support of one of the churches.
Jesus said FEW.
How many are FEW?
God’s Word says that FEW were saved from the flood–and reveals EXACTLY how many FEW meant on that occasion.
“Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.”
–1PETER 3:20
So, when God brought the flood which erased man from the earth, He saved a FEW–and FEW meant EIGHT.
To all of those who are protesting that eight is too small a number: take it up with the author of God’s Word.
HOWEVER, God has declared that he will save many more when Jesus returns.
“And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”
–Revelation 7:2-4
Yes, one-hundred-forty-four thousand is NOT a lot–when compared to the BILLIONS living on the earth presently.
It is a FEW.
BUT, it is quite a bit more than EIGHT.
In the last days, at least one-hundred-forty-four thousand will be saved.
It may disturb many readers who believe that they are heaven-bound because they support their Sunday social club they call a church.
But, better the reader become disturbed enough to consider the matter more closely and find his own way to the narrow path…
…before the curtain falls and it is too late.
FEW means “a few.”
FEW does NOT mean “not many–EXCEPT for all those who are member of our church.”
DOES the reader believe that FEW means “not many, a few”?
OR, does the reader believe that God might get lonely in heaven UNLESS there are a lot of people around?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
