Several pieces have been penned–several this week alone–concerning the smooth path provided believers by God.

All of this prompted FURTHER contemplation on the smooth path provided by God, and so, here are a few additional LAST THOUGHTS on God making the way straight before the believer.
1- Make no mistake: though the path IN THIS WORLD is made smooth by God Himself, the believer is PROMISED persecution and tribulation.
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”

“Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.”
–Acts 14:22
Persecution and tribulation appear to be the “price” one pays for eternal bliss.
BUT, God’s plan is to find a people who TRULY want to worship Him as God, so He can be a God to them. And there is little doubt that a man who will suffer FOR GOD the PHYSICAL DISCOMFORT of persecution and the MENTAL DISCOMFORT of tribulation is 100% committed to Him and His purpose.
2- Regardless of the dozens of slings and arrows the world flings at him, the believer KNOWS that, each and every day, God demonstrates that the believer is His by ensuring that DOZENS of difficulties either GO AWAY or DO NOT OCCUR AT ALL.
This seems to be MORE-than-ample “compensation” for the suffering the believer MUST face.
3- A smooth path may be expected by the believer only: it is one of the “perks” of believing in God; in His Son, Jesus Christ; in God’s Word.
Non-believers and others of the world can expect only the bumpy ride which has led many to label the earth as a “rock of woe” or “home to corpses.”
This does NOT mean that no good circumstances will not befall the non-believer. Actually, the Bible even mentions it.
“That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”

4- As the believer grows more accustomed to walking a path which has been made smooth, he learns to recognize the RARE bump he may encounter as a learning experiences; i.e., God is telling him SOMETHING.
Does his car not start after starting for MONTHS and MONTHS and not needing any repairs for MONTHS and MONTHS?
Perhaps there is a part which needs replaced and it is better to replace it now, rather than have it fail on a lonely stretch of highway.
God watches out and helps the believer–even though His assistance may occasionally look like a setback.
Is there a rare unexpected turn of events?
Perhaps the believer has been busy and God wants to hear from him.
Or remind him of his unusual circumstance in this life.
Whatever, these are VERY rare occurrences and it does not take long for the believer to learn that God not only watches out for him:
God also makes the path the believer walks a smooth one.

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right?
And really: what is more exciting than manufactured drama?
And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right?
Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?
IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else.
And the rich and celebrated do not conduct just any old feuds–their squabbles are usually “bitter” or “nasty.”
What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds?
Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.”
One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.
Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”
Oh–and pro wrestling…
One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.
Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.
Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. Sometimes–but not always–a prognosis of “You are going to die unless you stop” will force a man to discontinue risky conduct.
One sign of enslavement is the reluctance to quit a habit even when said habit is obviously detrimental to one’s health.
When man is enslaved to an unhealthy behavior, adverse risks are the LAST thing considered important.
AMERICAN FOOTBALL: A DOWNWARD TRAJECTORY
Once upon a time, the Super Bowl was a celebration of not only American football, but Americana itself.
No longer.
NFL is losing its core audience as only 51% of men between 18 and 49 follow the league closely – down from 75% four years ago – THIS is what the government/media wants the public to believe.
To this end, it will broadcast this message hundreds, thousands of times before the change in American management takes place.
It is speculated that before that change occurs, a story will develop which will encourage even the most ardent football fans to view their former passion with disgust.
Watch for it!

The US government wants control of the children because if they control the child, they more easily control the adult that child grows up to be.
They want an entire unthinking, obedient generation under their thumb–the easier to maintain control once the New World Order’s one-world government is instituted.
