Satan (the dragon) and his man of sin (the Bible also calls him “The false prophet“) control the ENTIRE end times WORLD and ALL of the people who live there.
“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast…And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
–Revelation 13:4,8
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
–Revelation 13:7
Naturally, this worldwide slavery is presented to the slaves as a ‘paradise on earth.’
“Through clever and constant application of propaganda, people can be made to see paradise as hell, and also the other way round, to consider the most wretched sort of life as paradise.”
–Adolf Hitler, Propaganda, the Big Lie and Adolf Hitler: 20 Hitler Quotes on Propaganda
Never mind that Satan is a master at deceiving.
“And the great dragon…that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world”
–Revelation 12:9
Never mind that Satan and his minions have spent years and years and years bringing their control-of-the-world schemes to an end times fruition.
Never mind that the populations of the earth will be BOMBARDED with slogans, cultural mantras and other propaganda stressing LOVE, BROTHERHOOD, UNITY and the NEED TO BE UNITED.
Never mind ANY of that.
In spite of the dragon’s BEST efforts, there are MANY clues in God’s Word that Satan can’t keep the wheels from falling off his end-times-worldwide-beastly-kingdom cart.
In other words, in the one-world beast kingdom: there’s trouble in ‘paradise.’
A FEW of those clues follow.
1- EVEN THOUGH the man of sin is presented to the WORLD as the (false) prophet and messiah (the false messiah), he bad-mouths God and those associated with God–particularly God’s Son, Jesus Christ.
“And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.”
–Revelation 13:5-6
Is this the way a “messiah” from God would act and talk?
OR, is it the way of a cheap, satanic pretender?
2- Though the man of sin ACTS like a “messiah” (doing his best to imitate Jesus Christ), he just can’t help himself: when he speaks, its the words of his benefactor, the dragon, which come out.
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”
–Revelation 13:11
3- Though Satan and his man of sin control the WHOLE WORLD for forty-two months, they STILL allow men to acknowledge God–even if it is to blame Him for their troubles.
Even the man of sin gets in on that action.
““And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.”
–Revelation 13:6
At the moment Satan and his workers believe to be their GREATEST triumph, they STILL acknowledge their GREATEST enemy.
Isn’t that odd?
“And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.”
–Revelation 16:9
“And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.”
–Revelation 16:11
“And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent : and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.”
4- Though the whole world worships the dragon, some cannot but notice the discrepancies between the man that is presented to them as the “messiah” and his unholy actions. This particularly true when the “messiah” begins to instruct the world in idolatry–and not just any idolatry, but the KILLING of ANYONE who does not join the worship of the “messiah“‘s” preferred idol.
While the great majority of the men will “get with the program,” undoubtedly a few will take note of such actions.
“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast…And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”
–Revelation 13:13-15
While the few that notice do not rebel against Satan, perhaps their reluctance will dampen any enthusiasm they may have had?
5- Perhaps the biggest sign that something is amiss is when the dragon, the false prophet and the ruler of the beast kingdom gather the world’s forces to fight against Jesus Christ and the armies of heaven when Jesus returns.
One would think that those who help the man of sin administer the earth would step right up and join in the dragon’s battle with Jesus at Armageddon.
“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse [Jesus], and against his army.”
–Revelation 19:19
But no.
Apparently, these other rulers need convincing before they send any men to join forces with the man of sin.
And so, the dragon, the false prophet and the ruler of the beast kingdom resort to demonic power to convince the kings of the earth to join forces with them against Jesus at Armageddon.
“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. “
–Revelation 16:13-14,16
These are only a few of the reasons that, though Satan controls the WHOLE end times WORLD, he shouldn’t take it easy and rest on his laurels.
The utter defeat of the dragon, the false prophet and the ruler of the beast kingdom at the hands of Jesus puts an end to the great worldwide rebellion against God by man.
“And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”
–Revelation 19:20-21
“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.”
–Revelation 20:1-3
And so, regardless of how much power is amassed by the workers of iniquity; no matter how TIGHT the control, no matter how rosy things may appear at first: the dragon and his followers should ALWAYS be looking over their shoulders, waiting for the next heavenly shoe to drop.
IS the reader watching for end times events?
OR, is the reader ‘too busy’ living his life and trying to make ends meet?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
