The newspapers, large and small, as well as other outlets in Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) AND many of the political critters are in an uproar over the government/media’s latest campaign: the “We-need-people-to-work-and-Americans-just-don’t-want-to-work-anymore” SCAM.
Some observations on this fairly transparent ploy.
1- AFTER listening to a store manager’s spiel about a product not being in stock because their warehouse in Indianapolis “couldn’t get anyone who wanted to work” because “everybody would rather stay home and collect their unemployment checks,” a bystander was tempted to ask the reason the product HAD NOT been in stock the previous two months before that all took place.
2- The bozos who work at the various levels of government ALSO have been vocal in blaming government unemployment checks for the supposed lack of workers available.
To this end, the politicos have spoken–in almost ONE voice–to END coronavirus unemployment benefits.
AS IF on cue, a number of governors have announced they are ending unemployment benefits (though NONE have been quoted as saying they will return the federal dollars which came to their states for these programs.)
The timing is both convenient AND gives the politicos SOMEONE TO BLAME for a supposed problem–and political ‘leaders’ are EXCEPTIONALLY skilled at pointing fingers and blaming others.
3- Apparently, the problem with finding workers is SO bad that the media is promoting the theme almost on a 24/7 basis. BUT, the problem is NOT so damning that any of the poor companies who can’t find workers will offer even a moderate increase in wages.
BASIC economics informs us that the more wage that is paid, the more workers willing and able to work for that increased wage.
HIGHER WAGES = MORE WORKERS.
Yet, the media has YET to cover a company which cannot find workers at, say $1.50 more an hour.
Companies would offer wages of 30 cents an hour IF labor laws permitted. HOWEVER, such companies would not be able to find many workers willing or able to work for 30 cents an hour.
4- As America’s workforce ages, the number of retired people willing to work for minimum wage is, obviously, NOT a huge consideration.
When people are raising families, many times one of the family’s breadwinners will work two–OR MORE!–jobs in order to be able to live a desired lifestyle.
There are other reasons for calling the media attention paid to the idea that “Americans-are-all-lazy-bums-now!” a propaganda campaign.
OR, a scam.
It will be interesting to see if the labor shortages increase or decrease in the future.

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
