“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”
–1CORINTHIANS 13:12
One sayings popular in these parts is “One day we will know all, but that day is not today, so we’ll have to get along with what we DO know today.”
Several years ago, someone made the remark, “You’re always saying that, but will we? Know everything, I mean? Is that in the Bible?”
It was at this point that an enthusiastic “YES!“, along with a quote of 1CORINTHIANS 13:12 was offered.
[Not much AFTERWARDS, it was mentioned that some teach that 1st Corinthians is referring to those things of a HEAVENLY/GODLY nature–though this restrictive stipulation is NOWHERE to be found in God’s Word.
In fact, Jeremiah 33:3 relates God saying similar–and there are also NO restrictions on what will be revealed.
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
There is also, it seems a clarifying verse on this matter in 1CORINTHIANS.
“Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.”
–1CORINTHIANS 4:5
LUKE also seems to confirm that the heavenly revelations will cover ALL areas of man’s NOW-incomplete knowledge.
“For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.”
–Luke 12:2]
So, when the reader hears of OR sees “One day we shall know all, but today is not that day…”, he can know it is TRUE because it IS biblical.
IF the reader is a believer, then he will have a mind that is “perfected” (the meaning behind the word used by the translators in 1CORINTHIANS 13. What this means is that he will know all: his knowledge will be perfected.
This is in addition to the promises God has made to “reveal all” to believers.
Just one more benefit to all who make it through the divers temptations and pitfalls of the last days.
DOES the reader believe he knows the truth of what goes on in the world?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
