God Created the World and its Physical Laws. God Can Supersede Those Laws WHENEVER He Feels it Necessary To Do So.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
–Genesis 1:1

One point that many do NOT keep in mind–either because of their disbelief, their deception, because it slips their mind OR some combination of the three: God–the Creator of heaven and earth–ALSO created the ‘physical laws’ (the basic laws which govern the universe).

Has the reader EVER wondered why the Creation has ANY order to it at all?

After all, it seems logical that IF the universe was born of chaos (as many unbelievers insist), the resulting universe should be a chaotic world–NOT one which is ordered and well-maintained.

Once more:Has the reader EVER thought about why this should be?

“for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace”
–1CORINTHIANS 14:33

At any rate, the universe operates under a number of ‘physical laws.’

There are a number of accounts in God’s Word which relate that God may set aside the physical laws which order His creation WHENEVER HE FEELS THE OCCASION WARRANTS.

Many times, man calls this setting aside of these physical laws, a “miracle” or “miraculous.”

A few of the times this has happened follow.

1- The non-wearing out of the clothes and shoes of the Israelites over the FORTY YEARS they trekked across the desert.

The Israelites–because of their disobedience and lack of faith–were forced by God to wander the desert for FORTY YEARS.

Yet, their shoes and clothes did NOT wear out.

“And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.”
–Deuteronomy 29:5

“Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.”
–Deuteronomy 8:4

The wearing away of the physical–whether it is of cloth or of iron–is one of the physical traits of the world God created.

HOWEVER, while the children of Israel were wandering for FORTY YEARS in the desert, the suspension of this physical law seemed to be one of God’s benefits while they wandered.

2- Jesus quiets the storms.

“And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the sh”And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”ip, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
–Mark 4:35-41

Storms and other fluctuations in the weather of earth are a normal part of God’s orderly Creation.

HOWEVER, Jesus–acting as God–set aside this physical law whenever his followers felt threatened by it.

3- Elisha’s servant sees into another, spiritual dimension.

“Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel? And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber. And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan. Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.  And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”
–2KINGS 6:11-17

Normally, man’s vision is limited to those things which are in THIS dimension.

It has been speculated that some animals possess the vision to see into other dimensions. But this is speculation.

No animal has EVER delivered a report which said, “Oh yes. I have seen beings from another dimension. Trust me.”

HOWEVER, when the king of Syria sent a host of men which appeared to threaten the prophet, Elisha, and his servant, God answered the request of his prophet and ‘opened the eyes’ of Elisha’s servant so that he was able to see those things of ANOTHER dimension.

The servant was then less excited when he saw the many chariots and horse ‘of fire’ (presumably manned) which protected him and his master, Elisha.

These are only a FEW of the times God’s Word has accounts of God setting aside the physical laws which govern His Creation.

And–as it is God’s Creation–His decisions concerning the Creation AND the rules governing the Creation’s operation are God’s to make.

God’s decision ALONE.

HOW MUCH TIME has the reader spent thinking about the physical laws which govern God’s creation?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
