A GREAT many are interested in the end times and end times events.
IN FACT, so many moderns are interested in learning what takes place during the last days, that they SEARCH for information about those subjects. They search their ever-present phones; they search the Internet; some will EVEN search those nearly-forgotten repositories called “libraries.”
Maybe it’s because so many moderns KNOW that something is not right, but they do not know what that something is?
Perhaps it’s because of a general feeling of uneasiness that has proved hard to shake?
Maybe it’s because so many suspect difficult times will continue and want to know more?
Whatever the cause, different folks have different reasons for looking for information about the end times.
Those who imagine they control events on this dark and lost world in which we live have taken notice.
And so, the world is only too happy to provide information to those who search.
Of course, this information is NOT biblical.
This information is, for the most part, FALSE.
And this information carries the stamp of the world’s approval–which means that those who labor for wickedness (scientists, medical personnel, educational employees, those who run Satan’s churches, etc.)–can be counted on to weigh in with false information which helps further the world’s ends.
Which means that a GREAT many who are searching for information will end up accessing FALSE information instead.
But many end times men are not looking for the TRUTH.
A great many are not looking for real answers.
Such end times men only search because they want to be able to answer any questions they are asked by friends, family and/or acquaintances. The information sought by such people does NOT have to be true, it only has to sound believable–IF one doesn’t look too closely at the info. Usually, such info only has to appear to be REASONABLE to the idly curious.
And this is a SPECIALTY of those who labor for Satan.
It does not matter to the church leader if the answers he gives are untrue. IF his readers wanted truth, they would forsake this wolf in sheep’s clothing and consult God’s Word: the Bible.
It does not matter to the scientist if what he says has NO relationship to reality. IF his readers wanted the truth, they would forsake this false prophet in a lab coat and refer to the ONLY source of truth in the world: God’s Word.
It does not matter to the talking head on TV if what he says is mostly nonsense. IF his viewers wanted facts and hard information, they would turn off the TV and study the Bible.
And so, end times man searches for information.
This is NOT the same thing as searching for TRUTH.
And because end times man is DECEIVED;
Because end times man does not possess a LOVE FOR THE TRUTH;
Because end times man likes to impress others with his knowledge of the world’s stories, nearly ALL end times men who search will uncover nothing but more lies.
Which means that the general uneasiness about the future will persist in such men.
HOWEVER, many will be too busy feeling good that they were able to answer a question posed by an inquiring mind to notice the uneasiness lingering.
At least for a little while longer.
Though MANY will search, FEW will find the truth.
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
DOES the reader believe that he could find the answers to nagging questions IF ONLY he searched more diligently?
DOES the reader even know what he is REALLY searching for?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
