To ALL who have a connection to the Internet, the idea of ‘looking for one thing, finding another’ should be a familiar one.
ANYONE who has gone surfing on the Internet–REALLY surfing–should be totally acquainted with this concept.
HAS the reader EVER looked for some bit of information–it doesn’t matter WHAT–on the Internet and started off on one of those journeys-on-the-web which begin one place, with perhaps, one link and then (after hotly pursuing said info) ends up at a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT place than what one was searching for?
This happens so often with some that a sort of AMNESIA sets in: one has totally forgotten how one arrived at the website where one ended up; one has even forgotten (sometimes) the website itself (unless the address is written down in the heat of the moment–which is often forgotten).
In the end times, a great many KNOW that God is POWERFUL and can accomplish his ends in many different ways–even those who claim there is NO God.
And so it is that a few have been saved while looking for one thing, but finding something QUITE DIFFERENT than what they were originally looking for.
The wild surfing of the Internet was probably BUILT just for God: the flitting from one link to another; the pursuit of a bit of knowledge across many different links, times and places; the moving as fast as one’s particular pace will take them. ALL are tailor-made to be used by an all-powerful God who is able to manipulate any and all parts of His creation–but who wishes to remain anonymous–particularly to those who are unbelievers.
Even those parts of the Internet used primarily by those who claim to NOT believe in such a God.
Even to those who prattle on about ‘God being an absentee landlord.’
God is not an absentee landlord
The facts that one can end up using the Internet (invented by man for a specialized purpose), but wind up someplace (often in the middle of the night) COMPLETELY and TOTALLY different: at a website which is COMPLETELY and TOTALLY at odds with what one believes they believe; with information which virtually FORCES the viewer into making a choice he had not made for his entire life: should ALL point to the existence of a God who is INTENSELY interested in His creation.
ALL of His creation.
Another proof of this is that FEW have ever NOT taken such a journey or ended up at somewhere COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than the place one originally was looking to go.
Has the reader EVER taken such a journey that he was not completely aware of how he finished this trip or the stops along the way?
Did the reader EVER wind up at information he was NOT searching for originally?
Regardless of what the reader may or may not believe, that unexpected trip to information previously unknown may not have been wholly the reader’s idea.
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
