“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.
–Ecclesiastes 1:9-11
There are NO new sins being invented.
There are only sins which are UNFAMILIAR to the would-be sinner–particularly if that soul is inexperienced in the ways of the world OR has lived a somewhat sheltered life OR is one of the youth–ESPECIALLY if one is a youth.
And so, one task which keeps Satan and his workers of iniquity VERY BUSY, is the repackaging of old sin to make it appear to be something shiny and new and wonderful.
Again: Satan does not need any new sins: the old ones are working just fine for the ‘prince of this world’ (a title John records Jesus using THREE times before he was sacrificed).
“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”
–John 16:7-11
“Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.”
–John 12:31
“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.”
–John 14:30
Gluttony, theft, lying, sexual lusts: all are sins which have snared man for thousands of years and will continue to trap man until the last soul is judged.
Homosexuality is an OLD SIN which as been presented as something NEW and CUTTING EDGE and PREVIOUSLY MISUNDERSTOOD by generations past who were not as ENLIGHTENED as the one now embracing that sin.
One would think that mankind would catch on after awhile.
BUT, no, man does not catch on because most of mankind is deceived. Satan has been repackaging homosexuality for a long, long time: homosexuality is said to be NEW, EXCITING, FUN (and all of the other buzzwords Satan uses to sell sin) and MISJUDGED by the stodgy ones who came before.
Satan keeps repackaging homosexuality and every thousand years or so, and eventually a civilization buys into what the devil is selling.
It would appear that man could EASILY see that EVERY civilization which has embraced homosexuality has end up tossed upon the ash heap of history.
But man is deceived and Satan does not much care. The devil simply dusts off a new PR campaign for the next society ready for the scrap heap.
Another example is stealing.
God’s Word CLEARLY says stealing something from someone else is WRONG.
“Thou shalt not steal.”
–Exodus 20:15
But Satan’s workers of iniquity labor LONG and HARD to convince man that STEALING is now perfectly acceptable–as long as you do from the company you work for (“They have a million of ’em!”) OR as long as what is stolen doesn’t cost very much (“They’ll never miss it.“) OR as long as a sales clerk made a mistake (“It’s on him, not me!”).
It’s like the two lies Satan told Eve in the garden of Eden: they are still being used TODAY because they both still work.
“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”
–Genesis 3:4-5
IF the reader has an Internet connection and a few minutes, he can find DOZENS of ‘news’ stories about living forever, living longer, schemes which supposedly outwit God’s judgment by cloning, uploading one’s brain or deep-freezing one’s body ‘until a cure is found in the future.’
And there are also DOZENS of stories promising that readers will be ‘as gods’ (though most are careful to say they mean “little ‘g’ god“–whatever THAT means; AS IF saying “little ‘g’ gods” absolves the one making the claim of any responsibility for saying it.).
There are NO new sins.
There are only new methods of presenting OLD SIN as if it was something NEW.
What does the reader think about fornication, theft and homosexuality: all sins which today’s man claims are justified according to the circumstance?
Why does the reader believe the authorities are so in favor of sin?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
