To almost EVERY question that can be asked, there are usually two answers: a LONG answer and a SHORT one.
“Why did God form His Creation? Why did he make the earth, man and all else that is contained within the marvelous and self-lubricating machinery we call ‘creation’?”
And so, having given the LONGER of those two answers already, it is time to give the short one.

“Why did God form His Creation?”
As usual, God’s Word supplies the crisp and succinct answer to the question.
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
–Revelation 4:11
The SHORT answer to the question?
God formed his Creation for His pleasure.
It pleased God to create man, the earth and ALL things within the earth.
This is verified during the account of the Creation in God’s Word.
“And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.”
–Genesis 1:10
“and God saw that it was good.”
God not only makes this assessment after creating the many components which make up our world, He repeats his assessment several times during that process.
“And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
–Genesis 1:12
“And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.”
–Genesis 1:16-18
“And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
–Genesis 1:21
“And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
–Genesis 1:25
In fact, the Creation after the sixth day was pronounced “VERY good.“
“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
–Genesis 1:31
God made his Creation because it gave Him PLEASURE to do so.
And though PARTS of that creation–particularly MAN–continue to daily disappoint its CREATOR, God continues to receive pleasure from His Creation.
This is the short answer to the question “Why did God make His Creation?”
DOES the reader have a DIFFERENT answer to the question?
WHY does the reader feel his DIFFERENT answer is the correct one?
It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
