Why Did God Form His Creation? The Short Answer.

why?

To almost EVERY question that can be asked, there are usually two answers: a LONG answer and a SHORT one.

“Why did God form His Creation?  Why did he make the earth,  man and all else that is contained within the marvelous and self-lubricating machinery we call ‘creation’?”

And so, having given the LONGER of those two answers already, it is time to give the short one.

MORE

“Why did God form His Creation?”

As usual, God’s Word supplies the crisp and succinct answer to the question.

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
–Revelation 4:11

The SHORT answer to the question?

God formed his Creation for His pleasure.

It pleased God to create man, the earth and ALL things within the earth.

This is verified during the account of the Creation in God’s Word.

“And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.”
–Genesis 1:10

“and God saw that it was good.”

God not only makes this assessment after creating the many components which make up our world, He repeats his assessment several times during that process.

“And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
–Genesis 1:12

“And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.  And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.”
–Genesis 1:16-18

“And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
–Genesis 1:21

“And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
–Genesis 1:25

In fact, the Creation after the sixth day was pronounced “VERY good.

“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
–Genesis 1:31

God made his Creation because it gave Him PLEASURE to do so.

And though PARTS of that creation–particularly MAN–continue to daily disappoint its CREATOR, God continues to receive pleasure from His Creation.

This is the short answer to the question “Why did God make His Creation?”

DOES the reader have a DIFFERENT answer to the question?

WHY does the reader feel his DIFFERENT answer is the correct one?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16

Can ANYONE Truly Be Prepared For the Last Days?

No

At some point during the past few days, the following question arose.

“I understand you feel that believers are WAY better off, but can anyone–no matter if he is a believer or non-believer–be truly prepared for the end?”

After some contemplation, it was decided that this wasn’t a bad question–even though ETPR has published more than one article on the futility of trying to PHYSICALLY prepare for what’s to come.

This led to a short, intense discussion about the difficulties BELIEVERS face–as well as some other facets of this particular topic.

So, the conversation that day attempted to cover all the bases.

AFTER much back-and-forth, some general agreement was reached on a number of answers.  MOST–if not all–of those points follow [if memory serves].

1- No matter what one believes, it was agreed that it was EXTREMELY hard to store up a stash of food or other necessities.

The reason the NON-BELIEVERS felt this to be true was somewhat surprising.

As one put it, “Who has the money to buy much of a stock of ANYTHING these days?  And where to put them IF you could afford to stock up? People don’t have much space in their house the way it is.”

BELIEVERS generally felt that EVEN IF someone had access to UNLIMITED money and UNLIMITED space, it was impossible to prepare for what God has planned for the last days.

2- It was generally agreed that anyone–believer or not–could be better prepared than most moderns are today BECAUSE the great majority of people simply do not believe there is anything to prepare for.

3- When referring to last days’ preparation, believers generally felt preparation involved spiritual preparation. Non-believers, on the other hand, felt that preparation involved PRIMARILY physical items.  But, even the unbelievers agreed that there were things one could do to prepare which did not involve physical items.

For instance, one unbeliever mentioned that “keeping a good attitude” was VERY important and couldn’t be over-emphasized.  In fact, this person was ADAMANT on the point.

Believers  (even those whose only evidence of belief was when they referred to themselves as ‘believers’), on the other hand, felt that a ‘good attitude’ MAINLY involved heeding God’s Word about the end times.

4- Another surprising point was that most of the BELIEVERS present expressed some doubts about whether they would ‘make it through’ the last days. (Of course, this is to be expected as God’s Word gives NO assurances about a believer surviving the last days.)

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
–Revelation:12:11

IF one’s view of ‘success’ in the last days involves physical survival of this body, there are simply no assurances ANYWHERE in God’s Word.

As one person put it, “They can only cut my head off once.”

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”
–Revelation 20:4

Of course, there are believers who DO survive the last days–else the gathering together (rapture) could not occur. Therefore, SOME believers WILL survive the last days.

“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
–1THESSALONIANS 4:17

5- There was a general agreement that following God’s Word was likely to HELP a person during the last days–no matter if that person was a believer or not.

As one unbeliever put it, “I like reading Psalms.  They always calm me down and give me peace.”

6- There was disagreement on whether being a follower of Jesus Christ helped or hurt one’s chances of survival during the last days.

7- There was also disagreement (naturally) on how much God would help the believer during the last days–or whether that  believer might even desire God’s help.

And the preceding were the main points discussed on that day about preparation and the last days.

(There were other points covered, but the memory sometimes does not store everything.)

When brought to mind, these points will be covered in the future.

God willing.

[One point should be emphasized: almost ALL who classified themselves as ‘believers’ felt that God would offer no less help and/or protection than He has already provided.

Another point which should be emphasized: God WILL accomplish ALL that He set out to do concerning His creation–including man.]

Is God An Absentee Landlord?

[This article is mostly NOT concerned with answering the question, “Is God an absentee landlord?”  That will happen another day–God willing.  This article is mostly concerned with how that question has been presented to the people of the world.

HOWEVER, we will only declare that IF more nonbelievers experienced the power of God, they would be believers–and leave it at that…FOR NOW.]

The pagan world is most interested in the question of “Is God an absentee landlord?”

The pagan world usually leads off on this question by parading a pack of men and women exalted by the world into the spotlight.

Men of science (which is an ancient, pagan religion), authors, politicians, medical ‘experts,’ whoever: anyone with authority granted by this world (and therefore, an enemy of God) march to the media’s microphone and solemnly declare, “God IS an absentee landlord.”

These men of the world USUALLY put forth the argument that they are only speaking only from the EVIDENCE they possess.

“All available evidence points to only one conclusion.”

BUT, when one defines what “EVIDENCE” is acceptable, one determines what “EVIDENCE” will be used and, therefore, which side wins this “debate.”

The world KNOWS this (and is NOT interested in a fair examination of ANY questions it asks), but the world is only interested in its opinions and slurs being considered as “the truth.”

MORE: Satan is Very Tricky

The world USUALLY feature a “man of God” as the opponent of the worldly experts.

HOWEVER, any “man of God” used by the world is NO SUCH THING.

IF the man featured as the world’s opponent were a TRUE man of God, the world would NOT give him a platform: the world would HATE that man.

As Jesus put it

“If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”
–John 15:19

BUT, the world puts on its show, with the world controlling BOTH sides of the question: the world’s side, led by the authories of the world and the fake man of God’s side.

In this way, the world assures itself of winning.

“The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.”
Vladimir Lenin

So, examining the question “Is God an absentee landlord?” will take place at another time.

HOWEVER, the reader can be assured that if this question was posed in a forum of the world, the world would ‘love his own.’

DOES the reader believe that God involves Himself in His creation?

IF the answer is “No,” then how is God to determine the outcomes He desires to bring about?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
