A GOVERNMENT OF MEN
In a country which has a government of men, by men, and for men, Americans are sadly about to discover the pitfalls of such a government.
A government built on men instead of one built on Almighty God will ALWAYS disappoint.
As far as it concerns the USA: as long as there were inadequate ways for that government to control “We the People,” Americans had some small measure of safety–and “rights.”
Those days are gone–as we are about to discover.
There are two groups of Americans who will be confused, stunned and disillusioned by the coming events in the USA. ONE group is those Americans who, in spite of warnings and evidence to the contrary, will discover that their government based on men has always had the particular problem of men living in a fallen world: man has a heart that is deceitful and wicked

The SECOND group of Americans who will be stunned, confused and disillusioned is the group of American church-goers who have built their hopes and dreams on the teachings of men. Denying that their ears itch the same as other men in other countries, they have had them tickled by “teachers” who have deceived them.
Men with itching ears want them scratched.
And no one will offer to do a better job of scratching them than false teachers and other con men.
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
–2Timothy 4:3-4
Nowhere is this more true than in popular teachings concerning what is about to befall the world. This combination of itching ears, the flesh and a deceitful heart will betray many of these Americans.
Jesus warned repeatedly about the the price to be paid for succumbing to deception.
Jesus was not a liar: that price will be paid.
A few notes about the above.
God uses evil men to accomplish his will. He is a sovereign God: He has, does and always will continue to do this. It’s also a fact that evil men are mostly all which God Almighty has to work with in this present, fallen world.
Many American church folk have accepted this statement ONLY IF it applied to other countries around the world. They themselves were indoctrinated into believing that they were special and that both their country and system of government were inherently good–neither which is true.
How could it be otherwise when this country was specifically designed to have a government of men and not God?
Yes, the USA has been blessed and used by God, BUT by-and-large, Americans have refused to acknowledge this. Americans have attributed their blessings to their own selves, their hard work, their own good works and their system of government.
They are about to be shown exactly where such systems of government devised by men ultimately will lead.
Some attribute America’s past wealth to other gods–but they naturally keep this hidden.
OR so they think.
Instead of searching the scriptures to see if what they have been told is true, many American church folk have instead invested that time in defending an eschatological house of cards. They have made a spiritual decision about which a consequence will be reaped.
A country of men governed by a government of men.
This writer prays daily that a merciful God has mercy on all.
He hopes that all who read this will join him in this prayer.

SOME DAYS, IT’S PICK A WINNER TIME!
When one chooses the topic and then writes about it on a regular basis, one inevitably runs into the occasional ‘brick wall.’
These are the days when a writer feels like throwing all of his possibilities against the wall and picking a winner from those which stick.
There are times when one simply CANNOT find a subject to write about.
This is not ‘writer’s block‘ or any of the other excuses writers have provided to those who look for their writings: this is more like the ‘well runs dry’–at least for a little while.
And so it was that, as is usual with such things, SEVERAL topics were considered, rejected, photos secured, some research was done on one or two AND THEN REJECTED, then FINALLY, one was chosen to expound upon.
Among the topics which did NOT make the cut (but which may very well become the focus of an article in the future) were: David Wilkerson quotes (using Wilkerson’s OWN WORDS to illustrate how that charlatan was NOT a man of God); the notion that some claim to have of “Who wants to live forever?” (which was originally based on a movie); and, the utter confusion suffered by those who see the events of the last days unfold before them BUT who do NOT believe they are seeing the judgment of God.
FINALLY, another topic was settled upon–one that is a little more timely–and so, the rest of this piece will be about THOUGHTS ON LABOR DAY.
A FEW THOUGHTS ON LABOR DAY 2021
1- The whole idea behind Labor Day was originally to honor LABOR–or rather, those who labored (workers).
Labor Day is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated on the first Monday in September to honor and recognize the American labor movement and the works and contributions of laborers to the development and achievements of the United States.
2- That being said, a great number of Americans celebrate something other than the American labor movement on that holiday.
Some–over the years–have used the occasion to tend graves, especially of those warriors killed in battle.
Some have used the day to catch up on work which they have felt they did not have time to do otherwise.
And a great many see Labor Day as one of SUMMER’s three BIG Holidays (along with Memorial Day, which unofficially kicks off Summer at the end of May and the Fourth of July). A sizable portion of these folks–at least in this writer’s knowledge–have come to honor Labor Day as the day which CLOSES OUT SUMMER (unofficially).
3- Labor Day has become a day when many families ‘cookout.’ For many, this is often the LAST cookout for the outdoor grill until the next year.
4- Labor Day was the day after which, traditionally, many municipal pools CLOSED. Again, this fact, no doubt, contributed to the idea that Labor Day was the death knell of summer.
5- A year ago,we offered a piece in which Labor Day was used to contrast the type of jobs which NOW are generally available and the type of jobs which ONCE were available when the USA was on its way up.
Labor Day 2020 could just as easily celebrate jobs which are scarce and mostly minimum wage–where once they were good-paying and plentiful.
6- Three years ago, it was pointed out in these pages the contrast between man’s version of Labor Day and God’s version.
How many see Labor Day as an extra day of rest, one day of a three-day long weekend, a day for cookouts and picnics OR the a day signalling the end of summer?
Many declare Labor Day to be a day to take a break and get in some last-minute summer rest.
With an emphasis on getting some rest.
Rest is one thing that believers are promised in God’s Word.

7- Finally, the question popped up: “How many more Labor Days will there be?”
Since Labor Day is an AMERICAN holiday, it stands to reason that IF America no longer exists, there will be no more official Labor Day’s.

Everyone LOVES to hear and see DRAMA, right? And what is more dramatic than an apparent feud among the beautiful people, right? Particularly if the “feud” is between celebrities, politicos or royal nabobs?
IN FACT, the rich and celebrated almost never disagree: they engage in feuds–sometimes for decades after they have ceased being celebrated for anything else. What would the beautiful people do with themselves if not for their never-ending feuds? Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when too many of the rich and celebrated have NOTHING “newsworthy” to do. When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.” One popular singer’s entire marketing campaign over the years seems to have been based on engaging in one “feud” after another. But, as the “victims” appear to be primarily the singer’s “fans,” it’s hard to get too worked up over the ruse.
Sports, politics and celebrity culture, European royalty–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”
Oh–and pro wrestling…
One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well. Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.
Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder, “Does Satan have a university or school where he teaches his followers these tricks?”

THE WORLD’S EVIL ELITES AND THEIR WORLD ORDER
The thing to remember about the coming order of the world: the “new order” will be most beneficial to those in control of that order.
The rich and celebrated elite of the world.

So, the elites will promise ANYTHING, say ANYTHING, do ANYTHING to achieve their beloved “order” and institute their long-planned order for the world’s masses.

The jury is still out on the fourth.”
The UN is their latest–but not their last–attempt to herd the world’s nations into one, big happy order for the world.

One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. Trump Tied With Clinton in Two New National Polls – THIS would seem to be the hardest narrative to sell IF the population wasn’t hopelessly deceived.
From where is Donald Trump receiving this newly-found support? WHY is Hillary Clinton suddenly losing support?
Did millions of Clinton supporters SUDDENLY discover in the past several weeks she is a liar? Are there former Clinton supporters who SUDDENLY disapproved of Hillary’s brand of lying but found Trump’s brand is perfectly okay?
Are Americans SUDDENLY flocking to Donald Trump because they’ve decided that Donald Trump is an acceptable role model for their children? Did Donald Trump SUDDENLY become likable? Did he SUDDENLY start making sense? Are more than a fringe audience paying attention to what Ann Coulter claims?
Or did much of the USA decide they would rather have a male crook in charge than a female one?
It didn’t make a lot of sense when Hillary was supposedly “unbeatable” according to the media polls (The same story which was used before, back in 2008.).
Trump’s “ascendancy” makes equally as much sense as Clinton’s did.
All of these poll shifts ONLY make sense IF the reader is sold on the false reality that is lived out only in the Corporate Media.
