“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
–Revelation 21:3-4
When Jesus was on earth the first time, he spoke a LOT more about HELL and the GREAT DISADVANTAGES of being tormented FOREVER than He did about Heaven and the benefits thereof.
IN FACT, if the reader is to learn about what the earth and those who dwell upon it are like AFTER the return of Jesus Christ, they have to consult the very last chapters of the very last book in God’s Word: The Book of Revelation.
Even a quick study of those chapters reveals that there will be a GREAT MANY IMPROVEMENTS once Jesus sets up His kingdom and rule perfectly forever.
What are some of these GREAT improvements?
What follows are SOME which are listed in God’s Word.
1- One of the BIGGEST improvements over the way things are NOW done is that God and His Son, Jesus Christ, will dwell among men.
The eternally saved men, that is.
“And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”
–Revelation 21:2-3
By God and Jesus living among men, a great many OTHER improvements should become available. These will be listed in the near future, God willing.
2- There will be NO more boating accidents involving ocean vessels.
There will be NO MORE sea.
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”
–Revelation 21:1
Many of the tares (who put on such a show of studying God’s Word to NO effect) attempt to make the clear language of Revelation 21:1 mean something else entirely.
Some speculate that the verse means there will be no more danger.
Others promote the idea that ‘no more sea” means ‘no more evil, no more rebellion.’ Never mind that the last chapters of Revelation give the account of one last satanically-inspired rebellion at the end.
“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.”
–Revelation 20:7-9
Still others claim that the verse means that there will be no more divisions among man.
Whatever His reason, God, in His infinite wisdom, has decided that there shall be NO MORE SEA.
And so, there will be no longer be the sea.
3- There will be a number of other annoyances which man has lived with since Adam sinned which will no longer be in effect, as per the proclamation of God Himself.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
–Revelation 21:4
Besides there being no more sea,
A- There will be no more death.
“The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.”
–1CORINTHIANS 15:26
B- There will be no more sorrow.
C- Neither will there be any more crying.
“and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying…”
–Revelation 21:4
D- Which means that there will be no more tears of sorrow or anguish.
E- There will be no more PAIN.
“…neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
–Revelation 21:4
4- One the things which is little remarked upon is that God will do away with His curse He laid upon man and the earth for Adam’s–who sinned–sake.
Of course, food will no longer be a concern as the earth will produce food abundantly–as it was meant to BEFORE God cursed it.
“And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”
–Genesis 3:17-19
But, there were OTHER parts of that Godly curse which have nothing to do with food–like the pain and LABOR of childbirth.
“Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”
–Genesis 3:16
So, by lifting His curse, God lifts ALL of the curse.
Which means that childbirth will NO LONGER involve pain, anguish and LABOR.
“And there shall be no more curse”
–Revelation 22:3
5- No longer will those who fear God have to communicate with Him via prayer, which is not the easiest form of communication–though prayer once one has experienced the New Birth is light years ahead of the prayers one offered before that took place.
Those dwelling with God will be able to SPEAK to Him and hear Him directly–as the prophets once did.
As Adam and Eve (before their separation from God through their sinning) did.
As stated, God’s Word does NOT have a lot to say about heaven (or Heaven on Earth). Much of what is known about that time and place are provided in the last three chapters of Revelation. And what is stated either has NOT been promoted by the churches OR has been mangled beyond belief.
But NOW, the reader knows SOME of what will take place when Jesus Christ returns to earth.
What has been called “the climax of human history.”
HAS the reader EVER thought of the ADVANTAGES to be had by God ‘dwelling among His people’?
It is not YET too late: there is still a little time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?

DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
